Still feel a little woozy but recovering nicely. LMAO at what I wrote (or attempted) last night. Truly sensational 10 hour party yesterday. Started at 5 finished at 2.30. Trick is to start slowly on wine then build towards the finish. I am proud to confirm there was no chunder. Less proud about my horizontal exploits but was probBly wishful thinking even trying anyway.
did you have bloody marys to start the day off? that likely would've been the prudent hing. how was the hangover?
Bloody marys are NASTY.
NO WAY!!!
nothing better with a hangover. Tell your bartender you want a dirty, spicy bloody mary. Thank me later
Just gonna add a dill pickle spear is a wonderful swizzle stick with those. /me has apnea and drinking is off limits these days.
I can have a sip or two but seldom even drink beer anymore.
My fav Crown & ginger ale with a lime twist -Excellent low hangover drink
Well, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. I've been known to drink too much. Was kinda happy I was going to the Middle East again for that reason
Crown with a splash of ginger is my go to bar ****tail. Easy to throw down. Never really thought of it as a hangover drink but that makes sense
And, yeah, I love the pickle garnish. I love getting the the dill pickles that are complete cucumbers (with the skin all the way around) and pickled asparagus. That really works well. But the key to a good bloody mary is a shot of olive juice thrown in. Works for flavor and makes it easier to drink.
I meant seldom hungover when drinking those. Hangovers occur much more frequently with those fruity sweet drinks. That said doing drive-up in N'awleans is still a treat if u can get there. Smoothie's as man intended
oh man oh man oh MAN! I knew it! Makes all the sense in the world now
I went to grad school at Tulane and take as many pilgrimages to the 504 as I possibly can. Spent this New Year's Eve there and went to Mardi Gras too. i love that city.
Nothin better than nursing one's self back with a Columns bloody mary
