Let the "StoudeMelo" era begin. And yes, I just coined that term.

Press conference at 5PM followed by the game. I hope msg uploads the video of the conference. Looks like everyone will be available to play. Can't wait, it'll probably be awkward but that is to be expected. They have the rest of the season to build some chemistry anyway.

It really felt like the poison was drained from the team this year (think back to the Marbury/LB days)and I hope it stays that way.

Welcome Back. I was going to go with Amearlo (Amear + Melo)

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Hold concern about Melo debut tonight. Minn players and all new Den players done. So is Melo. Other Knicks at doc now, will be done by 4. 8 minutes ago via TweetDeck

So it is Renaldo holding it up. Damn white man bringing us down again.

cant wait to see Balkamania running wild. He's going to hit the winning shot and Isiah's return to glory will be complete!

On a back to planet earth note... anyone know if Billups is starting also? I assume its Turiaf/Amare/Melo/Fields/Billups? Lots of Shawn Williams and TD off the bench?

The coincidence of this happening in time for Knicks Legend Night is pretty awesome. I hope Melo really drinks in what being a Knickerbocker means to this city. I hope that first time he hears "DE-FENSE!" from the Garden crowd he falls in love with playing D!

Damn, have you all seen the Knicks/Bucks commercial they're apparently airing on MSG?
Just saw it posted online.

But is the uniform guy ready????

Shelden Williams. He went to Duke — he's the school's all-time leading rebounder and shot-blocker — but don't hold that against him. He'll get some minutes at the 4 spot, but mostly he's a pain for the Knicks' uniform maker, who has to figure out how to differentiate between "Shawne Williams" and "Shelden Williams." Maybe we suggest "She. Williams" on the back of his jersey? Considering he's married to WNBA star Candace Parker, who is probably better than he is, it might work.

They will just probably put Williams on it.

Yea, just Williams I'm sure... haven't we had this issue in the past? I'm trying to remember with who...

EDIT: Did Kurt Thomas and Tim Thomas ever play at the same time?

Yes. The jerseys were changed to K. Thomas and T. Thomas.
