you dont think thats duable? i mean i honestly dont know.. my trades tend to be lopsided knicks favored trades. heheh.

but if ny was to get mayo and telfair that would be a lucky break imho. mayo is an instant fit into mda system, and ny would actually be able to spell felton without such a dramatic drop in court vision.

I think that's a fair deal for Memphis.

we'll all agree that the Gasol deal was one of the most lop-sided in history. I am thinking that to use that deal as an example of another similar lop-sided deal happening is a bit of a stretch. Gasol was unhappy and his contract $ were the reasons he was traded.

Everyone remember: Memphis would probably give up Mayo to save on salary some, but hey would probably want back a serviceable PF so they dont have to worry about losing Zach Randolph, who they dont want to resign.

AR and Azubuike for Mayo seems to make the most sense, but don't think it would happen until after Melo is resolved.

I guess it would make sense if AR were actually playing and showing he deserved minutes in the NBA.

edit - We would have to throw in filler as Mayo was a lotto pick and makes more.

Yea, this is pretty much what I thought when I heard about this too. Gallo, Chandler and Melo would be a log jam at small forward. Getting a shooting guard to replace one of the small forwards we have is probably the logic the Knicks front office has been contemplating. I dont agree with it btw.

Wilson is the better player or they are just about equal. And now we have to throw in a filler? Fuhgeddaboudit

I don't know if I agree with this one. I would much rather have Mayo play the perimeter than Chandler. Chandler is beasting and I'm happy about that. But Mayo has that potential to take a game over on the outside. He hasn't had a good season. He is shooting 41.7 percent from three and has over 15 ppg

I'm liking Reddick from Orlando but not for Turiaf. With Arenas possibly on the floor a lot with Nelson JJ is odd man out and fits a need at SG of course we have Fields but Reddick can score. Still the greatest need as I see it

1) Center (can you say we need 2 of them)
2) A 3rd PG
3) SG

And for all Stat's whining about TD not having a dime in 20+ minutes notice Stat had only one dime in 42 minutes and likely was doubled a lot more than TD

Not to mention 8 turnovers ...maybe you should move the ball instead of telling others to. The Toney Douglas you people saw in the first couple weeks is the one you have.... just as soon as he is healthy. And he hit Turiaf with two perfect pick and rolls last game Rony could not finish. Moz ...can't catch or finish... how the hell do you expect your back-up point guard to get any respect in the middle if he can only drive to the rim or kick out?

I think most of us like TD but you can't deny that he's got some horrid decision making. Also he's often the PG when we see the leads start to shrink. I don't know how much of that is due to his playing in pain, but usually being able to decide to pass or setting up plays properly have little to do with whether you have your usual athletic vigor or not. Guy just doesn't have a PG mentality and it kills us when he's out there destroying any flow we have.

And again I say you don't trust the guys to catch ther ball you dont play the same way. Felton is not gonna average 10+ dimes if he was running with the second team either
