As much as I want to see the Heat fail spectacularly I can't write them off after a month into the season. They should get healthier, they will start to click and by the playoffs they should have a chip on their shoulder. You've got 3 all stars and 2 MVP's, this ain't over.

The Heat lost their second consecutive game on Monday night, losing badly to the Pacers at AmericanAirlines Arena, and afterward had to answer questions about their chemistry and cohesiveness.

"We're in a position where we're going to get everybody's best and we haven't jelled as a team," Chris Bosh said. "This is what we asked for coming into it, and we just have to keep going."

Miami is 8-6. Fourteen games into last season, they were 9-5 without Bosh and LeBron James.

Dwyane Wade, playing with a sprained wrist, shot just 1-for-13 from the field.

"We're not having fun right now," James said.

Panos - We can hope!

Let's just say it doesn't work out with a big three. They are not in a bad situation, they can trade one of them (most definitely Bosh) for a few great role players and draft picks.

that's the part where I would disagree and could be their downfall (amongst other things). Their bench players are OLD as dirt. Big Z, House, Howard, Stackhouse (just released), Magloire, Dampier. All 32 or older.

And Miller and Haslem are hurt.

And the Big 3 are playing a TON of minutes. Not a good combo.

Fair point, could happen that way. As Haslem and Miller are healthier, I'm guessing that the big three will have to carry less of the load. I hope you're right though.

Don't know how Dampier played last year, but it seems like he has the same agent as Earl Barron haha
