Im not fully understanding of the patameters--if we have a top 5 pick and houston has 20--they get pick? and then next year unrestricted to 1??????? all to give Jefferies away for one year?

I still dont get it???

That F trade still kills me--do they f think they could hedge against losing for once? Would it be nice if all things fail that WE could land John Wall? THE ONLY time in Knicks hotory going back 25 years that changed the franchise was getting pick 1 in 1985--that was it--that started the chain reaction. I d love to put 50 guys together with 10-15mm $ each and buy just the Knicks from this MFer

I wish you could do that, Briggs.

But Dolan will never sell. Owning the Knicks is a crucial piece of his fragile ego. Without the self-importance he grants himself for being Knicks owner, Dolan would be lost. He needs the Knicks and will never ever ever ever ever sell.

The Knicks are worth way more than 500 - 750 million. And that is way too many investors with a similar amount of power. How would you manage the team? who would call the shots? I nominate me!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Hey, why stop there? After 25 and a huge hole under .500, why not give him 50 since things could still work out. Then, after 50 if we are deeper under .500, why not give him the whole year since the season has already been lost, might as well develop for the next season.

So there is no hope. Being a Knicks fan is hopeless.

neh. we'll get lucky eventually. too much $ not to.

being a Bobcats/Raptors fan is hopeless.

We've had pretty decent picks in the last few years, we just spent them on Channing Frye and Gallo.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

We need a center as insurance for Turiaf.

If Mozgov can learn to relax, stop worrying about foul trouble he will be a tremendous boost to the Knicks.

Time to find another center.

We need to stop looking for miracles and accept the Knicks as they are - work in progress.
And this is just the start of the work.

Every Day With The Answer Man Is Like A Birthday

Q. bonn1997 - You bumped this thread up just to tell us that we need another center?

A. No, the thread was bumped up to make a case for patience with Timofey Mozgov, who just needs to relax and catch the damn ball.

"The guy is 24 and cant even hold on to a basketball. The only thing Mosgov is going to anchor is his dingy back in Russia."

The Answer Man would submit that the moment Mozgov has his NBA epiphany and starts to realize that fouls are a part of the game, and not a curse... the Knicks ball movement will be that much more effective. The young man is unselfish and sees the floor well. He is a legit seven footer.

The pick and roll between him and Landry Fields will be a thing of beauty.
