He is improving game by game.

Also, Fields should be the starter at SG.

Moz most impressive tonight!!

Maybe TD starting SG..... Fields looks good off bench for now

Mozgov will be ROY (if Fields doesn't start)

Think Wall has ROY locked..... But if Moz could give him a run for his money would be nice

i was at the game, in great seats thanks to a friend:

the good:
felton - solid with 8ast/1to in 24min
toney - a revelation at combo guard with 23pts 3ast
amare - do what amare do
mozgov - love that guy
AR - solid, played under control tonight, only one horrible shot. several missed dunks this pre-season though - i think his knee is not all the way back.
turiaf - looked like a solid backup center
landry - love that guy pt 2
wilson - solid all around game, great defense.

the bad
gallo - 5rebs in the 1st quarter. 1pt is the only thing he put in the stat sheet the rest of the game. coastin' rooster. roostin' coaster?

the ugly
rautins

right now, before kelenna, my starting lineup would be:

PG Felton
SG Toney
SF Wilson
PF Amare
C Mozgov

bench:
PG Toney/Mason
SG Fields
SF Gallo
PF AR
C Turiaf

NEVER PLAYS: Rautins

Gallo has been HORRIBLE. Dude looks disinterested out there. Same with Mason, dont see much redeeming value out there if he can't hit shots and he hasn't.

Chandler would be much better if he was playing with a PG that controls the ball more; the less decision making Wilson makes, the better.

Didn't think I would see Amare miss so many wide open 15 footers.

Fields is impressive for a rookie.

Hated watching this game, there never seemed to be a good flow for the Knicks. McGee very impressive. Same with Wall, I like him better than Rose.

Moz has been wide open under the basket a dozen times and Douglas has missed every one of them.

Douglas has poor court vision.

I was thinking that also. We need ball movement speed and defense on the perimeter. Chandler is good at the 3. Gallo may be MDA's golden boy but he shouldnt be above benching. Too laid back right now. Let him come off the bench and find his offense

I've thought for some time that Chandler would be better at the 3.

As for those who mention TD's poor court vision. It is possible this will improve as he understands more of his teammates game and where they should be in the flow of the offense There is still the Billups case and he is bright 'oh most definitely'

I dont know why it is, but it seems like Felton has at least one pass a game that no PG in this right mind would ever make. Like an entry bounce pass to Amare who is sitting on the 3point line with his guy draped all over him and in clear position to take half a step and intercept the ball and run the distance of the court. Mind boggling.

TD is clearly getting better at what he is supposed to be doing on the court: not giving up his dribble so quickly, running the PnR a little bit more efficiently, etc. Let's hope his court vision gets better this year and next, I would like to see that get much better - still missing wide open players on the court.

He missed Timo a lot. At one point, TD drove the basket and missed Timo wide open to the left. He got his shot blocked by McGee and he goes down to the floor. Timo just looked at him and walked away

Hopefully, Duhon did not rub off on TD with his freezing ways.

Timo really wants the ball. The dude is always open on drives the basket by others. They need to trust him and just keep feeding him the ball when he is in the paint. Timo has really great hands. He probably has one of the better hands in the league. Dude catches everything.

I agree cold heartily ...... He is also quick..... When he cuts all you have to do is throw it up with his speed and hands
easy hoops every time!!

Felton is figuring that out

I thought they played a pretty good game but there are definitely still things they need to work on .. But at least they know that.. I saw an interview with a few of the guys and they know preseason is the time to work on their skills http://video.msg.com/Home/Knicks-Postgame-Win-Over-Wizards-10-17
I don't think there will be a problem unless somebody wants to make a problem, ... If they really want to make a problem, they're going to have to make a decision about how they want to spend their adult life in terms of playing in the NBA or not.

He definitely doesn't "catch everything". I've seen him bobble a few passes in the 1st preseason match. Having said that, he does have great hands for a big man, and especially for a 1st-year big man in the league.

Anthony Randolph had a game he could build on. He had his shot blocked a few times, but that's because McGee was blocking everyones shot, so I'm not so dissapointed in him for that. There were a couple of plays he made the wrong move, but overall, he did what he should have done. Just start from scratch, don't try anything dumb, play hard on defense and wait for the plays to come to you. The stats, the highlites, the glory will all come after you learn a little more, but overall, he was good. He helped out very much.

Landry Fields is impossible to ignore. There's no way he can't be in the rotation.

Amar'e very well could be an MVP candidate this season, but he HAS to be consistent on the boards.

I love both Douglas and Felton, although I wish Felton could put more work in over the Summer so he doesn't get off to these poor starts. Yet with Douglas, he's just a monster on defense, and if he ends up just being a 2guard with his monster defensive ability, I'd say even then we got a steal. If he can learn to consistently play the one even a little, then gangbustas.

Not sure why Mason is getting any playing time whatsoever. He's shown nothing.
