I suppose it's foolhardy to hope these kinks will be ironed out during the pre-season alone.

stay positive, I am sure that Walsh and Mike will be on top of them during the preseason and they will be a much better product when the season starts.

relax folks, the team started practicing together as a unit, what...2 weeks ago?

this is a pre-season game.

i do share some concerns, and maybe it will take a bit to gel.

how we handle those first 20 games will be key. in other words, hopefully we don't lose too many.

rather have it like this where we have a lot of room to improve, instead of last year's old stale team that would probably be getting beat by this same milano team as well.

In all seriousness, it's a young team and it's their first game together. It's going to take awhile and even when this team does start to gel, there will be inconsistent play because of how young some of these guys are and because of our lack of consistent shooters in the SL/main rotation.

Mosgov has been impressive, will say that though.

No one should feel the sky is falling after 1 pre-season game. Honestly, a legitimate assessment of the roster's potential could definitely come once the regular season approaches within a week's time or so. In the mean time, I agree that Mozgov actually looks more polished than AR.

One thing I noticed and enjoy about this Armani Jeans home stadium is how great the distance is between the out of bounds line around the court and where the players/media sit. There's at least an extra 3 ft of room, which would mean less chance of injuring a bystander when players dash for loose balls.

amar'e really likes handling the ball on the break sometimes.

in general, i'm very happy we picked him up.

i think he's a pretty significant upgrade over lee, who i liked.

It's their first game and to top it off, it's against a very good basketball team they have never even seen before. Not NBA players that they see all the time. Of course there is going to be sloppiness. I think the main things you want to see is a commitment to the defensive end, a lack of shot jacking, which has been fine overall and some leadership, which we've seen from Stoudemire and Felton. There's going to be turnovers in preseason and plenty of missed shots. Just as long as those two improve with each preseason game, I say we're fine.

I love our shotblocking potential btw. Gallo, AR, STAT, Turiaf AND Mozgov all go for the blocked shots, not to mention Wilson will get one now and then.

chandler playing quite well. looking smooth in his moves to the hoop and the off the dribble jumper.

if he can do that consistently he could become a real nice player. of course that's been a big if for him.

mosgov showing his stuff again with that nifty, athletic reverse layup on an earlier play along the baseline.
