I don't care that he has 50 million dollars of Dolan's money. Dolan was dumb to give it to him, just like I was dumb to give Dolan 24 dollars for 2 double margaritas in plastic cups that lite up when you drink them. (Still have yours, Martin?}
I agree. Curry wasn't the most mature or motivated guy all along. But he has experienced a tremendous amount of trauma over the past couple of years and that shouldn't be discounted in his decline.
Curry was never an impact player. The problem with us Knicks fans as a group is that we've seen such BS from our team over the last decade that any five game stretch of decent play is looked at like its the the second coming of Jordan. Curry, Nate, Craw, Mo Taylor, Tim Thomas, Gallo, TD, Marty Collins... I can think of specific games that these guys had where we thought we were about to get it going as a franchise behind their play and then a week later we're back to reality.
Curry couldn't rebound or defend. He needed to be paired with specific complimentary players which is typical of Isiah's moves. Chandler is the one two-way player we have had over the last few years. With Felton and Randolph and the development of Walker that should finally change.
Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
