started at 183.

currently at 153

I can see abs coming in and toned, i do have to admit with my schedule, I am working a modified P90 schedule. With me its more like P180x, but hey better to do something than nothing

most people that really stick to p90x seem to all shed about 30lbs. good work bro.

153 is light to me at 5'9". why did you want to lose that much weight.

I'm 186lbs as of this morning...I'm trying to hover around 175-185lbs...my concern now is body fat and becoming more functionally strong. I'm trying to be able to punch someone really hard and be able to run like the wind if I don't knock them out, lol

Back in College I was lifting heavy weights and was pretty strong and i weighed about 180, not cut. Well 6 years out of college, i was hovering around the same weight and wasn't working out. i had to do something as I didn't want to let myself go.

So I started P90x and started watching how i was eating. I've lost the weight over the course of 1year.

I really DONT want to lose any more weight, as I feel comfortable and confident at this size. I'd like to really push hard and get my abs to pop. It's crazy, cause I feel like i'm right there. I've been hitting Plyo and kenpo twice as hard for that reason.

P90X is really good. I highly recommend it. But it takes a lot of hard work and commitment. Working out was easy for me. It's the eating that sucks. But here is basically what I ate ...

8am Breakfast - Oatmeal with 1 scoop of whey, cinnamon, 2 tbsp of natural low fat peanut butter
10:30am Snack - Fruit
1pm Lunch - Turkey, chicken or tuna sandwich on wheat
4pm Snack - Whey protein shake
5:30pm WORKOUT (after work)
7pm Dinner - Turkey, chicken or fish with vegetables (no rice, potatoes or any carbs)
9pm Snack - Protein shake
And I try to drink 8 glasses of water a day

yea, the diet sucks.. I modified the diet. as you go along in the workouts, you need to start incorporating some carbs or your energy levels will be too low to get through the workouts.. I am on my second go around with p90x. so I modified the workouts.... I usually do 30-40 minutes or the first half, but I go max reps on everything.... I already been through the program, so I really didn't see the need to go through every workout till the end.. I modify, modify to get the most out of the workouts tho..
