Yao hit him in the face at the end of the clip when Randolph went over him for a score- surprised the announcers did not comment on that- it is the reason he got in Yao's face. What's encouraging to me is his foul shooting - 80% last season. If he can hit his foul shots that well, he ought to be able to hit medium range jumper with some room. It will take work on his part, but I think he can do it. Yup. He had a decent midrange shot with a nice stroke- just has to know when to take the shot. You could not put together an 8:00 clip reel of the entire Knicks team making these sames plays (esp. defensive plays on this video) over the last three years. This kid can do stuff we haven't seen around here since Camby. Except he looks like Camby plus Sprewell. Very exciting. Love the ferocity. |

![]() I like how when he makes a mistake, he does not give up on the play. If he can stay healthy and take his game up a couple of levels (especially with his jumpshot), he will be a borderline All-star.

It's one thing to make mistakes and yet another to give the extra effort to erase those mistakes. I really liked this kid's potential before we got him and now i'm really pulling for him to succeed like crazy. I don't feel there's a need to have to define his game just yet and to be honest in MDA's system is just rewards players that are active and aggressive. If you move your feet and play the passing lanes, go after rebounds etc. You can get out on the break and get easy scores that will raise your scoring avg. His teams have historically been great at the easy score and players like Marion, Amar'e and and now AR can put up All Star numbers because of the style of play. I'm not worried about AR making mistakes and I hope MDA isn't either. He's the kind of player that will make more positive plays than negative and he needs more PT not less. Just looking at how he was playing last year before he got injured, you can see that he's not really a big mistake player. His TO's aren't high and I think his shotblocking ability helps to make up for any of his mistakes. He's just a heck of a pick up for this team. Really hoping he explodes this year. |

![]() I like his defense... but an 8 minute clip and there was what, one pass? The guy needs to work on his court vision and move the ball better on offense... I can see D'Antoni being upset with him because it looks like he's a black hole on offense (like a more talented Harrington). I hope I'm wrong... we'll see when the season starts.

Dude, relax, he's a PF/C. Why would you expect to see passes in a highlight clip? He ain't Jason Kidd or Deron Williams. |

Man AR avg'd 2.3 asts in Dec. I think if this kudos up over 25 mpg he's gonna fill up boxscores! |

![]() AR got a serious handle, but his floppy approach to therim makes me a bit concerned. He seems to fall down at messed up angles too often. Still, he pwns the paint nicely. Gotta love his ups on D. David "No D" Who?
