With over 900 views the real fans want to know what is he doing to improve his game or has he gotten stronger. Gallanari can be a real plus if he mentally gets into games and concentrates more. I want to know if he's is physically stronger this year.

How do "real fans" know that you are not going back and forth between the main list of threads and this one, over and over again, just so you can increase the number of "views."

This is starting to remind me of one of those "fair and balanced" Fox News polls.

My greatest fear, by the way, is that Gallo is not going to be mentally into games this year because he will be thinking of the wonderful time he had in Italy this past off season when he was doing nothing to improve his game or strength.

Latest on Gallup.

During summer league interview today D'Antoni was asked about Gallinari and he seemed a bit put-off by the fact that Gallinari is not in Vegas at the moment but, instead, in Italy.

D'Antoni made a joke about Gallo eating too much pasta in Italy.

When asked whether Gallo would be ready D'Antoni replied " that they have guys like Landry fields and other guys who can play several positions and competing for time"

So did any of you guys watch the interview? How did you feel D'Antoni felt?

I think he's a bit perturbed about Gallo being in Italy but I didn't take it to be anything serious. Sure, D'Antoni wants everyone there building chemistry and he wants everyone to be accountable. I can understand this.

The other side is that Gallo is a foreign player and he should be able to go home for a couple months to spend with his family as long as he's working on his game.

Now I'm a bit surprised that D'Antoni said something about Gallo. I thought he'd just let it ride given his relationship with Gallo's father. D'Antoni wants Gallo in NY improving and building chemistry.

D'Antoni is doing the right thing, I think- continuing to challenge Gallinari, making sure he doesn't get an over inflated opinion of himself and get lazy- how good he's going to be will be determined by how hard he works this offseason. I like that what D'Antoni is saying is that it doesn't matter what he achieved last season, if he's not going to put in the effort, there are other hard working players who will take his place. I think it's fair to have a few weeks to spend time back home, but I also think that for the good of his game he should be working out in NY this summer, and I think maybe he is so pleased about how last season went he might not be realising that he still has to put in A LOT of work this offseason to improve.

Are you questioning Gallo's work ethic ?

Here you go playa: Gallo is working out with a trainer in Milan. Same trainer Kobe once used.

Hahn said it in a video with he, Al, Gus.

I'd have a problem if all of the Knicks were training in Weschester in August while he stayed in Italy, after being there for what, three months? And this is ESPECIALLY if Amar'e isn't playing for the US national team this year. Then it's the perfect opportunity for Gallo and Amar'e and the rest of the Knicks to unite on the court. For the Summer league though, it's a different story. It's pointless to be going all the way there from Italy for a week, just to sporadically workout with your teammates, and then come alll the way back to Italy.

And I don't have a problem with Gallo actually being in Italy now. He should be able to spend some time at home, and if he's working on his game, then it's cool. But I want to be hearing how he came back to NY in August, working with his teammates. It's absolutely essential.

Are we talking about a Physical Trainer or a basketball guy who will help Gallo refine various aspects of his game? Just wondering.

Hell, maybe the rest of the Knicks should just go to Milan- nice city to vacation in, I hear.
