That would lineup potentially as-

TD
Lebron
Gallo
Amare
Randolph

With Walker and Chandler off the bench? An eighth that rises from Rautins, Fields, JJ(4? or is it 5?) situation dictates. Or do you start Chandler at shooting guard and James at PF? A problem I would not mind having.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

I wonder if we can use Amare in a three-team sign and trade that wuld send Lee to GS, Amare and Randolph to us, maybe chandler or Bill Walker and something else enticing (cash?, picks from GS?) to Phoe....

all i know is if Donnie has LBJ and Amare in the bag, no way he fools around to see if he can work a Lee S&T to nab Randolph. He'll be napping by then.

totally slept through his entire tenure with the knicks. and when he was awake, he was making brutal deals like the jordan hill trade.

Gallup and Randolph with Amare Nice weak side shot blocking. Two rim wreckers with a 3 pt specialist nice fit really looking forward to send D.lee packing for an crowd pleasing athletic guy who gets it done on both ends of the court.

Danphoney needs guys like this , he doesn't have to teach him to defend.

FYI the agreement is Randolph and Turiaf for Lee according to Ian O'Connor.

That would be better a center in Turiaf THAN CAN PASS THE BALL !

Love Turiaf's ability to block shots. Both Ranolph and Turiaf. I think the Knicks would finish that lineup with with Miller and Ridnour. Thats not a bad squad at all.

You telling me there is no way the Knicks can work a deal???The Warriors have about 4 million in cap space and the knicks have about 4 million of non-Lebron money to play with. You telling me there is no Salary structure to get this S&T done???

the knicks will have $2M of non-bron money.

i think this trade is great though - let's face it - chances lebron is a knick this time tomorrow are about 10% right now.

That is a great trade for the Knicks. I hope the Knicks get LeBron but if they don't they need to make this trade.

I love Turiaf and would prefer him over OK4 and Randolph is a one year contract only. Keeps us lean for 2011.

Does Lee even want to go to GS? It seems there's a couple of other places he's interested in. If it does happen it does give us nice flexibility. We could sign Miller and/or Ridnour in this scenario. Or alternatively we can leave 5 mil in cap space so that next year with Curry coming off the cap we have room for a max contract (assuming the CBA stays the same- big if).

Randolph Sidelined With Ankle Injury

After a promising run of play, Anthony Randolph has been sidelined with an ankle injury and is expected to miss the next couple of months as a result. Anthony suffered the injury on Friday night against the Sacramento Kings, late in the first quarter. An x-ray taken after the game showed a possible fracture, and an MRI revealed two torn ligaments and a fracture in that left ankle. "I wouldn’t call it season ending," Coach Don Nelson said. "But it's close."

This comes just as Anthony was playing some of his best ball of the season. He is the team's leading rebounder, and had started the three previous games. In those contests he was averaging 14 points and seven rebounds.

The injury also comes as the Warriors' big men were just getting healthy, as centers Andris Biedrins and Ronny Turiaf were returning from injuries of their own to help Anthony carry the load on the inside. Now with him out, they'll have no time to ease back into their roles.

After helping the team battle through those early injuries, it's especially disappointing for Warriors' fans to have one of their most promising players go down just as the team was hitting its stride. "It's disappointing, because you'd like to see another three months of him playing consistently and see what he could become this year," Nelson said. Corey Maggette added, "It hurts our team a whole lot, because Randolph was really improving. He was starting to mature in a lot of ways."

Primarily used as a power forward or center thus far this year, with the return of Turiaf and Biedrins, Anthony was also being some used to help start the offense despite the presence of guards Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry, and CJ Watson. "He was moving along nicely in his maturation process," Nelson said. "I really enjoyed watching the progress."

Yeah, I just looked it up and edited the post by putting the injury report. Why is no one concerned about the injuries here?
