The accomplishment and hype of bringing a Championship to New York is bigger then any other. You're talking about a historical franchise in the biggest city in the world who hasn't won a title since 1973 and is coming of the worst decade in franchise history. Winning 2 or 3 rings in New York eclipses winning 2 or 3 rings in Chicago or Cleveland.

Definitely, I agree with that in terms of the hype/coverage. But it will only matter that much to New Yorkers. When it comes to legacy, MJ has 6, Kobe has 4 and counting, Larry has (I'm not sure how many, but a lot). Winning one or two in NY is great, but it's not comparable to MJ in terms of legacy. Let's face it, Lebron is not necessarily going to eclipse MJ in legacy. Nobody should expect him to do so. MJ was the greatest player ever and he earned his legacy by winning.

Christopher Reina is getting his info from the RealGM forum as is Marc Berman....lol. Berman literally stole a pic created on RealGM and featured it in one of his recent articles this week. A pic a poster made and photoshopped. Incredibly ridiculous!!!!

Anyway isn't it nice to know how the folk legend of World Wide Wes has grown so much over these past couple seasons that he was able to broker a deal for TT with the Bulls for 3yrs with only 2yrs guaranteed at $6.5mil?<-------I mean wow what a powerful henchman agent within CAA Industries he is(rolling eyes)

Stop believing every current article written about Lebron.

he has them by the short and curlies as they are courting izzo now but dont know what he will do until after july 1. i think its nonsense that he would have so much influence. i believe gilbert also came out and said lbj hasnt been consulted on the coaching or personnel.

If I'm heading to another city I really wouldn't care what's going on. Izzo came back to Mich no contract signed after a 9hr visit. Stared $6mil in the face for 9hrs and left with maybe a basketball from Cleveland Clinic Courts

Its getting crazy out there.

Chicago thing as being reported might be to quell the knick rumors which have all but died.

Knicks are quiet.

Lebron is quiet.

Knick rumors are quiet.

I think the oil spill was done by WWW to distract from Lebron.

Maybe a war will be started. Simple folk just can't handle the truth!

What I think, or anyone else quoted really does not matter.

But since you asked......>THibs is a MIke Brown type coach with his offensive abilty not yet established. Does Lebron really want a rookie coach with no set offense?

Regarding Jordan Legacy in BUllTown? Why should that matter if they win. They'll build a stature for him too.

Is DRose a good Deputy dog for LEbron? WELL, we want a former defensive assistant coach sorthing that thru? Is Deng tradable? Can Noah handle the load with his feet?

Clippers? Maverick Carter sitting with David Geffen watching a game is interesting. Forget second fiddle, thats a nice roster they would have with Lebron.

Nyets? Avery Johnson is an experienced NBA coach with rings. Mavs melted on southbeach party scene but the dude can coach and care. Control freak who learned his lesson. I like coaches who resurface. They learn from failure. Avery failed in the finals. A brutal lesson.

Byron Scott. How does this guy do it. He considers himself a contender for Lakes gig if Jax retires?

Mark Jax. ATL a good gig for him. I hope he gets it.

Too quiet about knicks. Maybe nobody talking because its the way it goes down?

What Do I know? ONly what I read!

What do I "Feel"? Personally, its friday and a cool Gin and Tonic with a few limes over ice would be great later......!

What I hope is not what I know or what I feel.

Basically a RealGm editor took a pic photoshopped in a thread made by a poster highlighting it in an article and Berman piggybacked. I believe the photo started without Lebron in it and then grew from there. But the fact he even referenced RealGM proves he's a lurker like many others are. We've busted them on several occasions copping ish from RealGM. It's really sad how bad its become

I noticed that when it was posted too. Why let the truth get in the way of a good rant?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I am not a Berman fan and I have let him know it. However, there have been posters that have connections on that forum that have broken trades. I remember HellsKitchen breaking the Ewing trade two days before it happened. I was hooked on that forum for several years after that. I just check it now but I think he is being responsible. As long as he credits his source I think he is doing what he should.

A statue after only two championships? Come on, that would be shameful. The way pride flies out of the window when LeBron is talked about is just pitiful.

Personally I really want LeBron to come to New York but I just don't what we have to offer. It would take 3 years or more just to get to the finals with what we have. I see Lebron comming here Like the people voting for Obama being President. They want everything fixed now!and he just can't do it right away because we have to many problems. Look D'Antoni may get us to the playoffs but never to the promised land. (the ring) Sometimes I beleive we should have tanked the season a couple of years like everyone else does to get that superstare player to build on.

Lebron
Bosh
Gallo
Chandler
Douglas

As Gallo matures next season, that could be one of the top 5 starting units in the NBA. Other moves will be made with Curry's deal, maybe trading Chandler, we have Walker off the bench. I gotta say, that unit and reserves looks very strong to me. Lebron and Bosh will bring the leadership we need at the Garden to change toward a winning culture. It will make all the difference in the world.

I am on record now: If we sign Lebron and Bosh, the first chip arrives in three years. I said something similar about the Giants when we signed Eli. I said at least two chips in ten years. We got the first one in his fourth. We have rebuilt the defense again and I expect another is coming soon.

WTF? I saw this and thought it was breaking news and that the previous rumors were wrong. Hopefully Briggs doesn't see this and then sell those MSG shares he bought today!
