he shot 14 FT's tonight.. his length and awkwardness makes him hard to defend sometimes..

It's very painful to watch Douglas as a Knick fan now. It just makes me want to strangle .

He's had some mismatches...Had Kapono on him a few times...I was a little disturbed he couldn't do anything with KG in Boston being immobile...He is having a hard time against 4s..

he's also had Jason Smith & Brand on him off switches & most of the time Iggy their best defender is checking him... he's done a good job tonight, i think u have to give it to him.

Douglas couldn't even get 3 minutes a game back in February or January from this coach.

He could have help, no?

Douglas didn't get minutes until Walsh went on his trip to evaluate the team including the coach and his staff.

Am I mistaken about what I saw at the end of the game? Why would anyone make a move toward the shooter and put a hand up to attempt to block that last shot attempt by Philly with 1.4 seconds left? (I think it was Duhon who did this)

Outplayed Holliday. He is a gamer, and has the offensive skills to be a take charge guy at the end of the game.

LOL. I saw that too. I was like wtf? I wasn't sure if they wanted to foul or play d. They are lucky Kapono pulled back.

I like Douglas but I would give him up for Holiday in a minute. 24 year old talent vs. 19 year old that you can argue on similar levels.

Douglas sat almost the whole year. Reflecting on this is so maddening.

He knocks down the 3's...gets the steals and pretty much took over the game. Then knocked down the free throw to seal it. I don't trade that for nothing I seen on the other side.

The way the rooks were treated on this team is crazy. Hill has 5 pts, 4 rebs and 2 blks in 14 minutes so far tonight. How D'Antoni just gets away with being so incompetent at his job is maddening.

We have to assume he doesn't trust rookies, which is understandable, but not on this team. This team sucked from the start. We didn't need to see Duhon playing the first 50 whatever games or so. It wasn't needed. D'Antoni trusting veteran scrubs over better, younger players just because they have experience is beyond stupid. This wasn't a good team to begin with. It was supposed to be a development year. We didn't really develop anyone but Chandler and Gallinari. Hill got a raw deal (although I don't see him being that good anyway) and Douglas definitely deserved to play over Duhon. If not at the start of the season then definitely at 1-9.

I agree- and Holiday is the guy I thought we would take after Curry was off the board, but Douglas is our guy now, and he seems to be able to play at a level which none of us could have anticipated when we drafted him. Still needs to work on his decision making in terms of passing, but he seems to be able to rise to the occasion on defense and offense.

I agree with everything you said. I hope in the future that the GM takes note if a coach brings his team from the previous season out of training camp and they go 1-9.
