Agreed dj as I just outlined in a post before this. Heck you're a Raptor fan and their franchise hasn't been in existence that long. It's in the neck of the woods of NYC. Nets in Brooklyn is good no matter what anyone says.

What I think is the real issue at hand is Knick fans know in advance they are going to struggle with how they internally feel. If the Nets happen to be good. While right now they tell themselves they'll despise them, if they have great NYC representation and become a great team in New York the feeling probably will be put aside for the greater good of the region.

I have 8-10 people or commarades in NJ whom lots are NETS fans and ya know what ? They ain't trecking to brooklyn to pay
$50 to see the nets. They may support the team on their local cable network but what does that tell you ?
Dont count the old Nassau Coliseum NY Nets fans of Dr J or REAL Nets fans whom I bet still follow the game and
perhaps the only true blue fans of Nets.

This aint about Jealous Knicks Fans .. I am a Avid Knick fan til the end and if NY isnt playing NJ I like when Nets win
but if you think Nets going to have following from true Nets fans to brooklyn cause Jay-Z or his peers are there to support
then they will not be enough Jay-Z's or Chris Rocks to support them in the $Ticket profits

Folks whom say they root for Lakers, then root for Knicks and Celtics now the Nets arent a fan but a sham.

Hope the Nets do well. Hope LBJ goes there to Nets cause it slim he's coming NY
but I dont think its happening and LBJ is only way to get Nets stimulated in brooklyn.

Folks arent going to come and pay lots of money for NETS cause of Chris Douglas Roberts, OR Lopez or even if NJ signs FA
like Amare. The Brooklyn project would be better off getting a expansion team then going from there.

I was raised just outside of Copenhagen - 20 minutes drive. Living there now with my older brother.. Awesome city. Couldnt recommend it enough. Also, if you like the smokerculture, we have the Best place in Europe for that - Christania.
