The guy is ancient, and couldnt stay healthy for 60 games when he was 27, much less 37

We arent operating in a bubble. Plenty of teams will have cap space and others will have the MLE.

PG for the minimum
McGrady (resigned for the minimum for 1 year)
LeBron
David Lee (resigned to a long term contract)
Camby (signed to a 2 year 10 million deal where he gets 4.8 mil next year)

i doubt even he would be that optimistic... this team sucks right now with T-Mac & D Lee, why would Lebron want to leave CLE to walk into this mess? Camby isn't going to improve the team enough to entice a guy like him to come... Donnie's ideal plan is to somehow convince 2 max FA's to leave their teams in the lurch & sign here straight out this summer... if that fails, he's selling the NY public on the "flexibility" angle... he mine as well call it the "failure" angle in that case, cuz that's essentially what it will be.

LOL. Yep, he can spin it anyway he wants, but the only way trading Hill and two lotto picks makes sense is if we get Lebron and Bosh this summer. Otherwise, why make that move. Walsh needs to be fired if we don't get Lebron. I just don't think this guy thinks creatively enough to get us where we need to be.

Firing Walsh doesn't help or change anything as long as Dolan is the owner still.

This move has all his markings on it.

I'm not sure about that. I posted that article about Dolan's concern over the trade based on his experience with Isiah. That story didn't just come from one source either. Walsh will either be the hero or the fool. He stands alone.
