DJ: Jennings' haircut harkens back more to Bobby Brown for me:

Jennings looked like he was way past this type of game and will be stepping up to the real all-star game in the next year or so. He pretty much did whatever he wanted to. I think he got overlooked: 22 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals!!

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

And Tyreke Evans...is just about ready for the next level more so than any other player in yesterday's game.. He is simply a take over player with a special blend of speed, power, and skill. If that kid gets his jumper in order it's game over!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Ah CRAP!!!!

I didn't know this was last night!

Shoot. I pretty much fell asleep around 9pm after shoveling all that freakin snow.

How did Gallo do? Did I miss anything notable from him?

I'll be sure to catch the slam dunk and 3pt shootouts though. I'll record them and post them.

Casspi dunked in Gallinari's face worse than he did last week. I did not watch the whole game but as you can see above guys are crying that Gallinari did not get the ball enough. What they don't realize is that if a player does not go and get the ball, and he can't create, then he is defined as a spot up shooter.

Personally I think jennings was on the right stage and has a long way to go for the all-star team. Great skills, great potential. Trigger-happy. Forces passes. Needs a lot of growth and seasoning to be running an nba team to its potential. But love his presence and demeanor and energy on the court.

And that has been my argument from day 1. You don't take a spot up shooter at # 6 overall

Marv if you were in europe and wasn't allowed to do your thing for a whole yr. Then you are allowed to display your skills on the biggest stage outside of the nba finals it's expected for you to be over zealous stoic like gallup.

Young guys wanted to show up the older guys and they did

Nate proved he knew what the right things were to do on the court while commentating. This made the dislike of him increase because he refuses to play the right way when he's on the court. He can go do broadcast work all he wants as long as he's not wearing orange and blue again next yr or hopefully after February 18th.

Yeah, he was running to the 3 point line while guys were driving to the rim. It is funny Casspi compares to Gallo favorably but plays both inside and out. He is not the shooter that Gallinari is but he seems to be more athletic, faster and more of a motor. Gallo should watch Casspi move without the ball. That guy had no trouble getting the ball from his teammates.

he knows what he's supposed to do, but when he's on the floor it's like his adrenaline takes over & he loses all focus on the task at hand sometimes... he is wound up way too tight, he's a ball of energy that can't be contained... i seriously think he has ADD issues... i really like Nate as a person, just wish he would play some defense & learn to trust his teammates more.

Man, this Shooting Stars event is horrible. It's nothing more than a way for Stern to promote interests no one really cares about. New WNBA franchise in Atlanta and the WNBA. Seems like every new WNBA franchise gets to participate in this event every year. Time to promote Evans, get Sacramento they aren't selling out. It's funny how they have all these TNT guys just laying around.

HORSE, Shooting Stars, and the Skills are terrible events. TERRIBLE.

Bring back the 2 on 2.
3 Pt Shootout
Dunk Contest.

No need for this other trash.

Heck, the Skills, someone could get seriously injured, so they hardly try in it.

Someone needs to tell Brandon Jennings that it's not only NOT 1984 anymore but he wasn't even alive then.

Steve Nash is an awesome character. Just way too funny. Gotta love that.
