Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Lee, I'm glad he made the AS team, last drafted Knick to make the AS team before this was Mark Jackson a long time ago. Your absolutely right and I said it before myself, I would like to see Lee at the 4 spot paired with a defensive big. Being smaller is a huge problem at times especially against the teams with the longer 4s and 5s, like the Lakers with Gasol & Byrum. But you can't blame the Knicks problems on defense just because the play small. Look at the Rockets, their playing 6'6" Chuck Hayes at center and I don't think any of the players getting any burn are over 6'9".

It's great that Lee gets to be an all-star, but let's not use the occasion to denigrate the contribution of other players. Both Gallo and Chandler are averaging 5.3 rebounds a game this season.

And don't expect that to change with this coach. As long as Mike D'Antoni is the coach here, David Lee will be our Center.

aka combined they are averaging fewer rebounds than lee.

lee shows up every night and makes the most of his talents. if every knick over the past ten years had done as much, we wouldn't be so horrible.

Saying that Lee is the best rebounder on the team is one thing; saying he doesn't get any help from anyone else on the team is another.
