Nets are worst team but we can see what they are doing thru our media. We can say the Nets are "collecting assets" as they could make a run for a player like Amare or keep doing it with youth. They are getting better as they are getting healthy. They will likely have a top 3 pick.

Minny has 5 no. one draft picks in the next two years, a decent young core (not ready for prime time) and 5 more 2nd round picks. They will likely incubate some of those in Europe for seasoning. They might be a train wreck this season but I can see a bright future. Why? McHale is not in charge and they are doing with with youth which they can also use as trade bate. Kahn might be arrogant, but they have some bigs upfront and a few points to build on. 10 draft picks in two years they are going to be able to take some draft chances also.

Organically (not counting on cap space) they can rebuild in the next 3 years far quicker than we can. Maybe we are being a bit naive?

If they have a plan and stick to it, it could work. The past does not matter and we can't pin McHales mistakes on Kahn. Sure he derailed our Rubio dream, but the Wolves future has a ton of potential. Potential for greatness or to make mistakes.

BTW, Lawson was very NBA ready but in college he was prone to injury. He is having a nice rookie season and a very very good team as Billups back up. Nuggs are the hottest team out west right now. Put Flynn on that team Im sure he also does well. Put Duhan on that team and we crying he is not here!
