I don't think Nate can execute a simple pick and roll.

He's been an average NBA starting PG. That's not to say i wouldn't take him over Duhon. But he's not that great either.

larry brown's style makes plenty pgs look "average"

Would you throw money at him next year? He's pretty much the best free agent PG available.

yes

i think Hughes is a better fit for our needs than Felton is... Hughes already knows the system, plays excellent defense & can orchestrate the P&R... he can also create his own shot if he needs to & can defend the 2 position... all this allows TD to play alongside w/him in the backcourt.

if u sign up someone like Felton to be our fulltime starting PG u have a smallish backcourt that's weaker defensively... it's not like Felton is some awesome ochestrator anyway... i'd choose Hughes or even Crittenton before i considered Felton.

felton may be only 6'1 (which is avg height for a pg) but his build more than makes up for any height issues. As for playmaking skill, he is very good n the open court. put him with this mix and the Tarheel will come out

crittenton is still a project.

hughes is not a point guard [/issue]

if we had a true sized SG i would have less of an issue w/Felton as my PG... would probably make sense to sign both Felton & Hughes but we won't have enough dollars to work under the cap with this offseason after we target the bignames.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

cuz we don't have a SG next season... u want TD to be your starting SG? he's undersized dude... i do not wanna go into 2010 w/an undersized backcourt... TD is best used off the bench in a combo G role IMO... i don't consider Wilson Chandler to be a SG either... he's a 3 or 4
