The New York Knicks would like to swing a deal with Houston for Tracy McGrady, but it probably won't happen.

ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan explains: "...what is killing the Knicks' chances of landing McGrady is their insistence that Jared Jeffries (signed through 2010-11) be included in any deal with the Rockets. ... even if they threw $3 million cash into the deal -- they do not have enough sweeteners (New York does not own its own 2010 first-round pick), and Houston has no interest in any of the Knicks' young players except Danilo Gallinari ... But the bottom line is this: The Rockets are taking calls on McGrady, and the Knicks are one of the teams making them. For now, though, the deal-killer in this equation is New York's insistence on including Jeffries."

That's pretty amazing. Mcgrady is breaking down the Rockets have a lot of defense, but you think if we gave them Mobley and 3 million they would think about biting.

Here's the link to the whole article.

We just have to sit back and hope DW has two more miracles in his arsenal.

But any team expressing interest in Gallo is clinically insane, that boy is the Golden Child, why even express that interest?

I wonder if Houston might be interested in some Winning-Brain...

“I just go through life at an even pace and I do everything to the best of my abilities, If I keep doing that, then I’ll be successful. Things haven’t gone the way I wanted them to in my time in New York, but they will. They’ll turn around because I believe and I have faith that if I keep playing the way I do and keep playing the way I do, that I’ll see benefits from it.”

“All I try to do is go out there and make winning plays... What this team needs and a lot of times what I think I can do in that situation is bring extra possessions, get stops and if I can do that, I can help the team win a game.”

kudos to Donnie for at least trying to dump Fishlips' contract but as u guys can see, there are not likely gonna be any takers... why he didn't dump him w/Nate last year is beyond me.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
