Kevin McHale's take:

Joakim Noah didn't appreciate LeBron James' dancing last week and it is unlikely last year's MVP would get away with doing that 20 years ago.

"If a guy was doing the Riverdance like that, coach would come over and say, 'Who's got the fewest amount of fouls of my big fellas?' " said ex-Celtic and TNT analyst Kevin McHale. "If you raised your hand, he would say, 'We will let him drive and then we will throw him on the ground.'

"When he is laying there we would say, 'Do you feel like dancing now?'

"And that pretty much solved the dancing problem."

that's right. and don't forget who's on the bulls' roster. i don't think lebron wants any part of this again:

you'll never see guys like kobe, jeter and brady dancing during a regular season game when it's a romp. you won't see those guys come up with elaborate pregame introduction rituals.

lebron is awesome - there is no debating that. but he is currently not on those guys levels when it comes to seriously taking his team to the next level. he has the skills to but he's not there. he's still in the "i want to have some fun" stage of his career. that's ok tho - he's still just a kid.

it's obvious noah was frustrated with the way the team was playing. they were getting blown out and he looks over the other side and he was doing the kid and play like they just won a championship. he was voicing his frustration.

the issue with lebron is that everybody clearly defers to him in everything. his teammates, coaches and organization. what he (and wade) did the past 12 months talking about free agency and playing in this city and that city was nothing short of unprofessional and disrespectful to their fanbase and organization.

Cosign.

Lebron is a bully. It's visible in his game, in his swagger, even in his comercials.

Kobe is an assassin. Who would you rather have in your corner?

He isn't taking his guys to the next level???

Which guys are you talking about Mo Williams, Delonte West, Anthony Parker. It's easy to take guys to the next level when you have Tony/Manu, Pierce/Allen/Rondo, Melo/Billups/Nene, Gasol/Odom/Bynum/Artest

Lebron is playing with no one. Kobe takes himself to the next level. That's the way it's always been. He has the most talent in the league playing around him. This dancing isn't classy, but again this kid has been annointed since age 14 he is the best player in the game hands down.

28pts 8.2ass 6.9rbs 1.1stls 50% Lebron
29pts 4.1ass 5.5rbs 2.2stls 49% Kobe

I think the assists speak volumes. Especially when you have Bigs that dunk everything around the basket in Gasol and Bynum. Lebron Would we average 12assists a night with that squad.

Alright, the dancing did i... I don't want LeBron in NY anymore... what a clown !! I want tough minded, winners, champions at heart to wear the Knicks jerseys. I don't want no prima donna making the shw on the MSG floor, the City dancers are there for that. I hope Walsh is taking notice of all his acting...

^i don't think anyone's questioning his abilities on the court. what i'm questioning is what attitude he's come into this season with. i'm surprised he's not more serious, fierce and determined after how his team fell apart last year. he should be playing with the determination of kobe last year when it was obvious he had his heart and soul invested in winning. instead lebron's playing like a guy taking a victory lap. for what? he celebrating getting bounced and sent home crying by orlando?

I think some guys here are missing the point.

There is basketball then there is being a decent human being. Lebron is good at basketball, you don't have to bring up his stats. He is a piece of crap human being.

Now the line divides two camps of fans. There are you children, your child-like adults that sympathize with the children, and plain fools. And then there are basketball fans but also people that value character in the players they choose to spend so much time in following. The latter group recognizes Lebron for what is, while the former would worship a turd from a toilet bowl if ESPN said it was The King.

why are you assassinating his character? he seems like a fantastic guy. i jus don’t like his lack of focus and fierceness on the court this year.

Because it's just not cool what he's doing. I forgot who, but someone here said that he doesn't respect the game. And I agree.

I love the game and I hate to see it made into a circus (more than it already is, like with the pre-game intros and stuff).

Lebron could be the greatest ever, but he just doesn't care nor respect anything around him. It's not cool at all.

i don’t agree with that. i think right now he's not respecting what kind of mindset it takes go all the way in this league. maybe he got burned out by how everyone but delonte disappeared on him against orlando.

i think he also is disrespecting his opponents by dancing on the court during a blowout. he should end up on his ass for that.

I mean, I see what you're saying. I guess I'm taking what you just said and extending it to his character. Which, I feel, is reasonable because if he was a quality character dude, we wouldn't see this behavior. But, you know, whatever.

I like to think that LeBron is just celebrating his last year in Cleveland, enjoying his final tour of duty before he has to focus on winning in NY.

what makes lebron a piece of crap human being.. name 1 thing he has done, to deserve that kind of harsh uncalled for criticism?

I'm with OBM on this one.

Nothing about 'Bron implies that he's "a good dude." He's young, arrogant, petulant, aggressive, spoiled, uneducated, rich, famous and an athlete by profession. While none of these by itself is bad, all of them at once? If I had a daughter, she wouldn't be allowed to date him. In fact, I'd hope that I'd have raised her to know better than to date a guy like that without me having to forbid her.

I used data a flight attendant that was a former fling of Anthony Mason. The first thing I said when i heard was "why the hell would you date Anthony Mason?" But that's neither here nor there.

What's relevant is that I don't care what kind of character guy he is. All that's necessary for me to support him is for him to A) be on my squad and B) be a winner.

Now, add good character to that, and I'll not only support him, but I'll probably be inspired by him.

TRU??????? WTF!

Can you please provide some examples and support for your attack on Lebron's character other than 'he dances on the court occasionally' or 'he didnt shake hands after a hard loss in the playoffs'

Ya'll are really acting ridiculous now...What does Lebron have to do with Anthony Mason?

Off the court I laugh, joke around, smile, invested heavily in my community, give lots of money to those less fortunate and basically love anybody and everyone that I come in contact with(that has not screwed me)

On the court I would stab you in the face if it meant winning.

Learn to separate fellas. You don't know who these guys are. Some are trained to behave great in public but behind closed doors are horrible human beings. Vice versa as well. Some guys make some huge mistakes in public and look like jerks, but they would give their spleen to your mother if they had to.

I just hope that people will like me

Now, as for the dancing I agree with Kevin Mchale. It's shameful that someone on the Bulls did not knock him on his ass. I would not yell at him, I would not threaten him. I would level him. There is a mindset that guys that truly "lead their teams" to championships have. lebron doesn't have it right now. those guys that are focused on the show(in general) tend not to be able to put their teams over the top. But he's young, so it would not concern me that much if I was coaching him.

Of all the millions of asses that Michael Jordan busted, how many times did you see him strut or preen or dance or play to the crowd. Maybe 3 or 4 times ever??? All he cared about was winning the game. To him a dunk wasn't the end all to be celebrated. Neither was winning a game. What was most important was doing whatever it took to win a title. That's all he cared about. If you pay attention to Michael later in his career. He was not the most talented player in basketball. But he was so focused, so determined, such an assassin, that it didn't matter. He beat you anyway.

I just hope that people will like me

Couldn't agree more. Forget about getting suspended he should have been knocked on his ass. You know one of those old-school Xavier McDaniels plays where he does it even try to make a play for the ball just takes the guy's head off.
