Yeah they did that in the first half, esp. the 2nd quarter and we had no answer...Now they're a jumpshooting team...Maybe fatigue's a factor..

yo, when i was at the suns game, i didn't get a chance to post this...but i heard some cheering to put nate in.

i have been a nate supporter for a while, but at some point you have to see the growth in maturity. at this point, we haven't seen it on a consistent basis, or where you can feel confident enough with our team to take such risks.

the comments about him being perhaps a better fit on a successful vet team seem accurate.

it's possible that the fans have no interest in seeing guys that aren't going to be here next year play...and if they are forced to, then they'd want to see a player they like...especially considering chandler/danillo play supporting roles to harrington + hughes + lee, while toney + hill are afterthoughts...

when a gm says it's all about 2010, then the fans don't care about this year either...

nate playing 19 minutes or less, or not playing = 5-6 (6-6 after we beat nets)

nate playing more than 19 minutes = 0-9

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

dj, personally, i happen to think it's about nate and his HUGE appeal to casual, young fans.

for those more into the tactics of "good" b-ball, not simiply entertainment, which is what nate is about, nate's benching makes sense, even for those like me who have had hopes for the man.

my sense is if fans cared about potential anti-2010 they wouldn't even come to games. maybe i'm wrong, and in fairness, that could be part of the reason for the cheers, but then why no cheers for hill?

most fans are just generally not that educated on what are generally key factors for winning basketball, and spend the $$$ for games to be entertained.

i am almost amazed that the knicks get so many fans even with discounted tickets and a horrible team for a decade.

at the suns game i was amazed at how capacity the crowd was. i struggled to sneak into "good" seats.

nyc has SOOOOO many people compared to say, memphis, who are big time nba fans who are international/casual followers who usually want to see players they know (i.e. like me who would go to see a big international soccer club and want to see the "stars" if i went).

nate fits the profile, especially for the youngins and uber-casual fans...hence the chants, imho.
