Curse Gallo and his stiff body He's just a waste of a lottery pick and we're doomed now all cuz of his stupid stiff legged Euro game. I hate him! Who can like a guy like that? What kind of nickname is Rooster anyway?

Gallo must read this forum and decided to shut up all the naysayers. I can't believe how often I have to defend that pick. Just goes to show that we have had such shyte management for so long that now peeps expecting it. But I have felt since Donnie and arrived, they have made smart moves, almost ideal ones. Wish Hill could get some burn and show us his shyte, too.

Gallo made a whole bunch of new believers tonight, jeepers. If they don't sling the rock his way more often I am going to start thinking their water is being tainted.

Go Knicks!

the Suns young players really outshined our young guys... Robin Lopez is a future top 10 player in this league... Goran Dragic is the real deal

Gallo looked ok but he still lacks lateral quickness and slow running the floor... he's no Donte Green.

I was saying the same thing after the Orlando game. Ryan Anderson is like 20X better than Gallo! Why pick a 6-11 Sniper that gives everything he's got, defends, passes, even when he was playing with stiff legs and a bad back, when we could have a small SG who basically does nothing but score? To hell with all this, let's just trade Frye for Gallo right now, cuz this kid can carry Frye's jock. Stiff legged bastard.

Gallo looked very good tonight because he moved and was active without the basketball. His first two shots set up his whole night by using his length inside. I don't want to see a player sit behind the 3 point arc heaving shots because there are going to be many off nights that way--impossible to stay consistent. He might've had a better night tonight if he didnt start to settle for the 3 later in the game. Hopefully he will learn from this game and stay active. Bt great night for him and as a Knick fan I pray that he plays the way he did tonight--please God I am not an anti-gallo--I am an anti losing Knick's fan. I just want guys who can help the team win.

The thing is Briggs for Gallo this is almost still his rookie year and he's done nothing but show he's more than capable of being the player we hoped for. I think for whatever reason not only did he do more, but his teammates had to also buy in for him to get the number of shots he got. They haven't always done that.

everything about Gallo just speaks "winner" to me... he doesn't have any selfish tendencies at all & he plays team based basketball... he's got a great head on his shoulders & a great work ethic, says all the right things to the media, shows a very high maturity level for a 21 year old kid, & gives it everything he has on both ends of the floor... never gives up on a play, u never see him coasting on the floor or zoning out... still got some things to work on in his game & be a little more aggressive looking for his shot, but he's got to be the best looking prospect we've had since Mark Jackson.

he didn't settle, he shot 50% from three.. the suns at one point just didn't find him and he was wide open, or just shot over smaller guys..

that play where he juked earl clark and pulled up for that 35 foot three was nasty... he wasn't camping anywhere then....

but thats cool.. I like when you bash him and praise other players.. since your last tirade after the kings game gallo is playing well and donte green has been putting up scrub stats....

keep up the good work briggs..

Gallo the future home grown star:

"I want to be a complete player," he said. "I don't want to be just a shooter or just an offensive player. I want to play defense and offense and be aggressive everywhere . . . and that's what I did tonight."

That's the reason we drafted this kid. He just plain gets it!

Nice quote. He's still young, but he's learning to be the man.

Gallo has tremendous skills. I don't know of anyone who would disagree except those that can't and don't watch the games and are just looking to vent on anything they can.

His main concern is his health. He has looked very good the past two games. The prior two games he was most certainly laboring. I will say against Orlando he corralled a ball that was just out of his reach and he didn't seem to have any ill-effects whereas a game earlier a similar play his back locked up and he couldn't reach for the same ball. Last night he lost a defensive assignment, turned and ran full speed at the shooter who bricked it. Again, looked fine doing it, whereas on a similar play two games ago he did the same thing, turned, wanted to run, but stopped dead in his tracks and you could tell his back had charley horsed on him.

It's the way of back spasms. Just think TMac and how some games the guy was Michael Jordan and some games he was Rick Brunson out there. Similiar LOOK if you will when the back is good versus bad (not the same back problem).

I'd say problem number two for Danilo is the idiot teammates he has that ignore him. However, they weren't ignoring him last night, and it showed. So who knows with that other than...come this time next year he won't have to worry about 3/4ths of those idiots for they won't be here!!!!

Larry Hughes flat out LOOKS FOR DANILO every trip up the floor. Take notes, Duhon, Nate, Al, and Chandler. Take NOTES. F'in FOOLS.

With all the criticism of his lack of movement and consistency. All the talk of him camping out on the three point line. All the talk of him not being aggressive on a consistent basis. It's all true. But what many forget is that this is essentially his first season. Learning how to do these things when you are not Lebron etc is often times part of the development curve. If he wants to be better he must learn how to be more consistent, how to be more aggressive and how to beat these quicker defenders off the dribble. He's already shown the ability to shoot over guys, be aggressive and do more things then just shoot jumpers. Now he must learn to do them more consistently. Not an amazing revelation for such a young player. When you stop evaluating with your emotions and just take a step back and realize what the guy is doing during his first full season in the NBA, then you realize that you may have actually gotten a pretty good player in the draft. But I'm sure as soon as he becomes a rookie again and has a few tough games in a row some of the expert evaluators on the site will be panicking again.
I just hope that people will like me

I've heard a lot of comparisons about Dino, but his game looks more like that of Larry Bird than anyone else's.

If this guy gets a post up game...

Lack of movement and consistency goes back to the back problems that some are in complete denial about (his supporters at that!)

Camping out at the three... well I've seen him post and cut plenty of times. I think half of this is on the offense schemes and half is on Danilo himself, and for the hell of it, another half is on his teammates ignoring him at times.

Not being aggressive, again, partly the back problems, partly his team ignoring him.

Larry Hughes was on a mission to turn Gallo into a star last night. The rest of the team needs to take notes. Gallo is our go-to guy like it or not.
