Can he lead at crunch time. I say he can.

Let's go back to that point from above.

*note- not credited for steal in the 4th quarter that lead to Jeffries TO out of bounds.

7:31 Al Horford lost ball (Al Harrington steals) 94-86 7:28 94-86 Jared Jeffries turnover

TD made that steal

At this moment if Jeffrries dunks this ball and Toney is hitting him in the hands for being a big and running the floor. As a reward...he can take the guy on a 3-on-1 likely. the score is back to within 6 and the Knicks have some momentum. See Horford was bowling over Somebody agaiin and Toney took his lunch money to help his center out. That is a big time play. The kind that wins games.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

all good imho - the kid can ball, doesnt matter if he is a 1 or a 2, but he was the only one last night that looked like he WANTED to be there.

quit stealin the tickets from the real knick fans!

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

All Douglas needs to do is develop an understanding of the offense and the pick and roll play. If Duhon can do it, I see no reason Douglas cannot do it. He certainly is not going to be the next Steve Nash or Jason Kidd, but he could be Mookie Blaylock or Sam Cassell, which is alot better than we have had these past 4-5 years.

I like the Cassell comparison.
