Duhon, Chan and Nate when he was playing have been horrid!!! Then you have Al just being Al. This is not the best this team can play and I guarantee this team will play better than this. MDA had trouble setting his lineup out of preseason cuz no one was playing well and they continue to suck now.

No coach can get wins with a team this bad if they can't make a shot and then let that effect how they defend. That's always been our weakness. They only defend when they're making shots. My take is they'll eventually play better and get back to near mediocre level we all predicted.

I totally agree!! The coach is trying to get the best out of this group but other then D Lee and Gallo no one here cares about anything other then a contract!!!

Which Duhon even said himself!! Duhon has been given the freedom and the trust to be free by Coach D and he is the one who is failing right now!!!

Last year I saw glimpses of what he can do if he cared enough to do it!!

He was Avg about 9 dimes a game which is no joke!!!

But since then he seems to think he is better then he is!!

Plays outside his game and against what the coach expects!!

And he def seems not to like Gallo at all!!........... Think its because Gallo's future is secure already and Chris is playing for a contract..... He doesnt ignore Al nor D Lee........ He even passes way too much to fishlips.

Duhon is to blame way more then the coach!!

so you're actually blaming walsh for not drafting or signing a viable option to duhon (esp since the organization doesnt seem to believe nate can handle pg responsibilities full-time) in case he falters, some1 gets injured, etc.

I concur. Walsh is not innocent in this debacle either

Walsh has a very hard task at hand!!

If if wasnt for Walsh our problems would have lasted till 2013 not till next year....

He got rid of 2 the hardest contracts to move in the league in his first year...

He created a plan for cap space during the BIGGEST FA CLASS OF ALL TIME!!!!!

He tried to sign Kidd!!........ Which I believe would of been perfect for us.

He tried to figure a way up the draft to get Curry even though if we got the 5th pick I know for a fact he would of took Rubio.

He wont admit that right now cause he knows he is still in play and does not want to outbid himself for Rubio's rights....

He was sooooooooo patient with D Lee and Nate deals and we signed them to reasonable one year deals to try and maximize their value.

He avoided throwing away cap space on Sessions cause really he was just not the answer to any of our problems.... Good move BTW!

He more then anyone wants to win proving that by making deals to try to get us better last year when we were still in it.( Didnt work of coarse)

Walsh is gonna be the one who makes us credible again in the long run thats for sure......

Only if us fans were half as patient as he is we would see it already.

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

let me see if i can get this right

time out at 48.3
shot goes up at 39.9
jones rebounds the miss at 37.6
lee fouls tj ford at 30.1

questionable clock management.

added to MDA's things to do regarding Gallo: play to free gallo up for a quick 3 off an inbounds. maybe he can borrow a couple from stan van gundy's play book for rashard lewis.

were they instructed not to foul right away?

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

whose idea is it to start an undersized center w/o the physical strength to make up for it

You write as if there are better options D'antoni is missing.

milicic has proven he can defend the 5.

you only questioned this, you must agree with everything else

I stopped reading after that ridiculous line about Wilson Chandler making decisions with the ball.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

true. kool-aid is coming out with a new Italian line based off the flavor of that limoncello liqueur. D' Antoni is reportedly the campaign spokesman.

Effort is one thing you cannot coach. You need one or two of your best players showing the work ethic to everyone. If they do it, then everyone will follow suit. Question is, who in this team can they follow. Gallo is the only one I see but he is only in his 2nd year so I don't see that happening.

Yes you can. Just as Bip. I know he'll agree with me.

Bip can you chime in hear please? I have a 16 year old that I need to coach effort into.

When a player comes to a team he is under no obligation to do anything resembling effort. It is up to the coach to say the right things, beg the right way, give the right gifts to make that player play harder. If said player still refuses to give an honest effort, than obviously it is proven that the system is a bust and we should fire the coach.
