Brendan Haywood: "My last blog about some of Stephon Marbury’s actions, combined with a radio interview that I did, have been misinterpreted by some as speaking out against homosexuality. I’ve received some comments and so have the Wizards about it. I just wanted to take a time out and let you know that no disrespect was intended. I was just trying to have fun with a crazy situation. I don’t support or condemn homosexuality and I believe in everyone making choices for themselves. If it doesn’t affect me, I don’t really care. I hope no one was offended because I wasn’t trying to come off like Tim Hardaway or OrangeBlobMan."

A secular argument, if you will--

In 'the wild', a Lion hunts and thrives. -- A GAY Lion (and they may exist) will NOT reproduce. If a gay lion will not reproduce than he is unfit for survival and therefore unworthy of any common rights within the lion community.

Now, a gay human might have some worth (he can baggage groceries, for example), but he cannot EVER fulfill his natural, BIOLOGICAL duty of reproduction.

Within the lion community, a gay lion might have no value, so he just dies out.
So all hetero sexuals should reproduce because its their biological duty? If they dont are they less worthy? Should a woman that bears children have more rights or worth than a woman that chooses not to? Is the woman sitting at home spending your tax dollars collecting her welfare checks because she has 4 kids (she cant afford) and no job giving more to society than the gays earning normal livings in normal jobs? Your argument is beyond inane.

OGB, you posses the level of ignorance and hatred that can only be passed down from your previous generation and its sad you had to grow up in such an ugly environment. Its your parents fault more than your own, but never to late to change or see that views like this hurt humanity rather than help it. Good luck.

Yeah, this argument is ridiculous. It would be one thing if there were 2 men and one woman left on the planet and the two guys were gay and refused to have sex with the woman in order to repopulate the earth. That's not the case. The world's population is growing at a pretty rapid clip and there is no fear that we will die out because there aren't enough people reproducing. So who cares if a gay man or woman chooses not to reproduce. How does that affect anyone in any way?

What about the gay man that does impregnate a woman. Does he deserve more rights? What about the lesbian that chooses to be impregnated? What about the gay couple that takes the homeless orphan and gives them a home? Are they still scum?

Wow. This took a hell of a turn in 3 hours.

As the OP I just want to state I didn't intend for the argument to get this deep. I thought what he said was pretty funny and basically some ...ahem..."locker room humor" that he said in a public medium.

I really didn't think about it or envision an argument as controversial as this coming out of this. Sorry guys.

A warning for everyone:
A Vogue cover girl has won a precedent-setting court battle to unmask an anonymous blogger who called her a “skank” on the internet.

In a case with potentially far-reaching repercussions, Liskula Cohen sought the identity of the blogger who maligned her on the Skanks in NYC blog so that she could sue him or her for defamation.

A Manhattan supreme court judge ruled that she was entitled to the information and ordered Google, which ran the offending blog, to turn it over.

Ms Cohen, a tall, Canadian blonde who has modelled for Giorgio Armani and Versace, went to court after reading the wounding anonymous comments on Google’s Blogger.com.

She was actually called more than just a "skank," but that is the expression the news people have picked up on in their reporting.

Skanks in NYC no longer exists, by the way, so dont expect to get titillated by going to the site checking out the women who have been deemed skanks.

I think that the slander being thrown around here may just end up in a similar court action, with Andrew/Martin being forced to give up the names and addresses of the most egregious offenders.

I just don't want to see some of you have your desperate, pathetic, and dirty little lives exposed as your real identities are revealed in court.

I'm just worried.

Can't we all just get along??
