Gfk..there's nothing senseless about my post. You seem to be wrap up in walsh paper that every time someone speaks out against him you seem to take offense.

I'm voicing my opinion and stating the obvious in certain senerios. I don't post off the deep end sht that makes little to no sense.

Imo tinsley makes no sense at this point, and I'm also confused as to why we would even look in his direction giving his rep. That's not senseless or ridiculous as others have also question walsh's moves..

But in your eyes walsh is damn genius.

I take offense to terrible posts with no substance. This post I quoted is a good example.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Dolan has to be the only owner in the league who can consistently hire a coac and team exec that aren't on the same page.

getting Mullin and Avery this off-season will end that trend.

OMG, give me a break. Look at the source. So what if Walsh is meeting with Tinsley as a courtesy, there's no chance he ever gets signed. Where did all this BS come from.

I wouldn't be so quick to say there's no chance. Walsh drafted this guy and he will come very cheap. Plus he plays a position of need. I don't really want him but I'll say there's a very good chance we end up signing him.

Too much baggage no matter how cheap he comes. There's no chance, zero, zilch, nada...etc...

Bulls?

You know my uncle ships bulls. I guess that makes him a professional bull shipper.

I have no problem with Donnie talking to the guy. Donnie should talk to anyone and everyone with talent. We are a bad team with limited but improving options. We can't afford to leave stones unturned.

That being said I'm not feeling Tinsley. I hope the personal relationship doesn't bring him here. Although I don't doubt the possibility that he could find lightning in a bottle in NY I personally am sick of guys like that. They rarely work. My guess, is if he was signed it would be a one year contract, but I would rather give Douglas a chance to play.

agreed, i dont see what tinsley brings to the table. he is over the hill, and you know what you're going to get with the guy. i'd rather have ramon sessions or nate, both are still young and still potentially have "unrealized" game. tinsley is what he is, and i don't think he's any better than duhon. please no.

Daily News speculates Tinsley will except a deal in NY even if the offer was lower than any other team.

I would assume Tinsley in NY would be a last resort thing. I kinda like the idea of signing Tinsley for a year and maybe a team option for the second. Open training camp and let the cream rise. I would expect Tinsley to beat out Duhon and hopefully Toney can compete and make progress in practice.

Tinsley is one of the best passers in the game. some guys are all drive and kick. Tinsley can hit guys for open jumpers but he also is an excellent interior passer on top of that. he sets guys up for easy lay ups and dunks about as good as any pg in the league. Plus with his handle and vision he is killer in the open court. If his mind is clear and he is in shape a 1 year deal is a no brainer

One year, team option on the second, for a position of need to be filled by an established PG with vision and passing skills. I say roll the dice. If he is outta shape (doubtful) or playing poorly, no reason MDA can't send TD in there.

It would maintain our flexibility into next year, something that a Sessions signing would fail to do. I like Ramon, but it's a bigger risk due to the 4-5 year requirement, and he is young so we have no injury track record to know how durable he will be.

Why Tinsley? That's why.

From everything I hear, high school coaches pull you right out of the game if you pull a move like that, whether you're successful or not.

I may have went a little over board with the jj highlights...but for real, every where I read about the knicks it's been all negative this off season so far. Then I'm getting tease relentlessly at work, when your biggest acquisition is a ridiculous Under achiever thats nothing to hold your head high about
