I was referring to Al Thorn of the Clips and Thaddeus Young from the Sixers.

LOL at Thorton being 30

Chandler is 22
Thorton is 26
Thaddeus Young is 21

Optimus, you've been here only today, and you already have 30 posts? Damn, did the RealGM banning really hurt you that badly? Just so you know, your incessant bickering and nonsensical endless agenda driven attacks on Walsh and Mike D without merit probably won't float in this arena.

Nobody here is interesting in shock posters who bait people into arguments to pacify your boredom. Just sayin'

I'm not waived from RealGM I chose to stop posting once I got tired of childish filth such as yours, the fact that moderators ceased to clean the forums of childish trash, and two moderators who always got offended when their points of view were challenged and sought to edit and delete posts that didn't meet their standards of blind faith. Nothing more nothing less.

By the way, your mentor, The Bluest, has been tossed from here, and that should put you on short notice since he has an infinite wealth of knowledge of sports compared to yourself but just chose to be far too combative in displaying them. You on the other hand seek to be combative from the start and you possess a rather anemic grasp of the sports world and simply choose to bait people into arguments in an effort to stem your own boredom.

Your shtick will not work here. This is where the adults and the knowledgeable post. Bored children looking for a rise out of people seem to be welcome on ESPN or back where you were suspended from.

Maybe, but watching you two go at it will certainly spice up a boring off-season.

Out of interest, is getting "waived" from RGM some kind of initiation rite? "I hereby waive you, now strip nekked and run round campus" kind of thing? Its just that, if thats what it is, Marv is real interest, and would like a go.

LOL yet I will disappoint I have said my peace and I am done. The next chance for me to entertain you is when I open my mouth as if I am about to bestow intellect upon the masses yet end up embarrassing the hell out of myself and then refuse to admit I am wrong.

As to RGM, they use basketball terms in their user status just as we do. "waived" is their euphemism for "banned". Cute, to say the least...or well most.

http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60162/20090629/wolves_turned_down_knicks_offer_for_5th_pick/
The Knicks offered the Timberwolves the eighth pick and forward Wilson Chandler for the fifth selection in last week's NBA Draft.

Minnesota declined, and used the fifth overall pick on Ricky Rubio.

Reports indicate that New York would have used the selection on Rubio, not Stephen Curry.

Walsh would have deserved to get ripped for this deal if it would have went down. Id rather have Hill, Derozen, Jennings or whoever would have been available at 8 & Chandler then only Stephon Curry.

I don't believe it was Chandler & #8 for only #5. It was probably Chandler,#8, & #29 for #5 & #6. If Minny knew that we were going to take Stephon Curry with the #5 but they were able to keep there #6. Then they would have just taken Rubio at #6, as well as Flynn or Jennings at #8 and landed Chandler. Us Asking for the #5 & #5 so we could land Curry & Hill makes more sense. To Walsh's thinking as well to why Minny would turn down that deal.

Why on earth did the Wolves turn that down?

the article says it was Chandler & the #8 for the #5 to pick Rubio... i guess that means MIN is holding out for more & the Knicks have serious boneage for Ricky.

Imagine if we did this deal and we still had no guarantee Rubio would ever come over. It seems definite he will spend 1 year back home. That's fine. It's likely it's 2 years, That's not so fine. It may be forever, that's not good at all. Imagine the uproar? I don't think I'd be happy.

Ah, this happens to every poster who comes over from RGM, including Cosmic to start with. That site does not have a very good rep when it comes to their posters. Smile, wave, prove you're legit and guaranteed the snide remarks disappear within a week. Prove the RGM rep right, and its just another RGM juvie who tried to play with the grownups and didnt fit in. You got a clean slate here, thats for sure.

Cos has been here for 3 years now, and judging by the way RGM treat their posters I guess the guy has a right to carry a chip on his shoulders for a little while. TrueBlue did your cause no good.

Chandler & the #8 for Rubio i would not have been happy with at all... i would trade Chandler straight up for Rubio now if i could tho... but i'm not giving up Hill & Chandler for Rubio, that's just an insane price to pay for a kid who's still got some serious questions surrounding his game & his contract status.

& dude, if you weren't so cool to post those postgame vids i'd be on your case a lot more.

Yeah the going price for Rubio seems to be quite high...probably too high given he's unproven even on the level of whether or not he'll show up.

Vids, eh? So I'm just a video whore for you guys huh. Eh, better than nothing.

I must admit I've dropped the draft vids ball...but I have an excuse. I haven't been home in weeks. I hope to do some SL games though. Gotta see Hill and Douglass in action you know.
