I would guess that Charlotte will be all over Josh Smith, I think he is in the mold of player they would love to have.
If the Knicks were to get involved, they really ought to give up 2010 salary.
Smith's $10M could be had for the Jeffries contract and our $4M in trade exceptions, but ATL would still need to get some value for Smith, rather than just a salary dump. A swap of picks could do that, but I think I would rather have the pick right now than Smith signed for 5 years at $10m+ per year.
You know I gonna spin wit it

Every time his name comes up I think of this monkey hanging on the rim and costing us games.
you may want to consider whether the choice of words here are appropriate, regardless of how much of a mistake it was for harrington to get those t's.
Why is his choice of words inappropriate? He didn't mean anything bad in anything he said. It's all true. So don't get on him for his 'choice of words' simply because you see the worst in everything.

Josh Smith is 24 years old and has played for one winning team. I would expect the types of things you usually see from players coming from bad teams... turnovers, bad habits, bad shots, etc etc
You have to step back and look at what your working with here. You have a supremely athletic guy that who is an elite shot blocker, great rebounder and can play the 2/3/4 at any given time.
The whole point in having a guy like MDA here is he is the guy to turn talent into winning talent. Smith to me oozes talent.
Personally I would jump at a shot to get this guy.
He showed a ton of improvement last year also... his TOs were down, his FG% was up and he was more a part of a team than ever.
