Everything is filled out--we could start it today at 5 PM and just let it run from there as people will be getting home from work it might be easier

Any other suggestions?

Maybe we can start it earlier? I'm eager to get this thing going haha. Why don't we aim for 2 or 3 and if we have to wait then we have to wait?

i am supposed to be somewhere this evening...

i'm okay with making my picks as best as i can, but i have some questions...

1) are we getting 1/2 hour for each pick even if it takes someone 5 minutes?
2) are we gonna stop at some hour for people to sleep, etc? on one hand that gives someone more time to pick, and on the other hand people do have to sleep. lol.

Good question Ike.

Should we see how things go today by just letting people pick as they get back here. To me, it looks like everyone who has a team is on this site pretty often so it shouldn't be too much of a delay.

yeah, most of us are here enough that anyone that may be missing at their time to pick is probably not messing around, and more likely just not here for that time, and will come back soon enough. i trust folks here will do their best to pick in a timely manner.

i'm cool with starting whenever everyone else feels ready.

I would say if you can make a pick 1 minute after the next guy has made his--do it. What I was trying to prevent was last year some people took 8 hours for a pick. The vague 30 to an hour is just a guide. It gives someone the time if they are doing something but if it gets ridiculous and its an 1:20 minutes since the last pick then I will take the next highest ranked player from one of the draft sites who has not been picked and enter it in that position. That way things do not get held. I would say a cutoff time is 12PM and resume at 9AM the next day. You cannot enter a pick if your team is not up because of potential time problems i.e if the 17th pick is up you cannot say Ill take this guy or that guy for 20. I think pretty basic---I would say start at 5 PM just for today in case some people are working and have no idea that it is starting--if the top 5 guys who are picking have no trouble starting sooner--that is OK too. I mean we could drat now if those top 5 are ready to go--they have to let us know.
