Wait wait wait... you like both Reddick and Morrison?
WE ARE DRAFTING IN THE LOTTERY Saying, a team CAN win with player X doesn't justify drafting him. You need to draft players that you win because of. Show me some clips of Curry playing defense against Willie Warren and I'll believe that he's a strong defender. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=3712005&categoryid=2459792 In this game the lovers will say Curry was sensational, he had 44 points. Well, he took 29 shots to get those 44 points and had 3 dimes, 2 steals, 3 turnovers. A Curry turnover in the final seconds sealed the loss. Willie Warren had a more efficient game, scoring 20 points on 11 shots and they won the game. And it was one of Willie Warren's first games of the year. Curry against West Virginia - 27 points, again on 27 shots. He did have 10 assists, but 8 TO's. They did win this one though with Curry scoring down the stretch. WVU's starting guards were injured that day. Bryant went for 13 on 13 shots. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=283440277 Against Duke, Curry went for 29 points on 22 shots, 6 assists, 7 turnovers. Scheyer, by comparison, had 22 points on 11 shots, 4 assists, 1 turnover. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=290070150 You do see a nice pick pocket by Curry in this highlight though. I do not see Curry as an efficient scorer and that's in college. How he's going to be an efficient scorer AND hold up on the defensive end is a major question to me. Think about the way that the big time scorers get their points in the NBA. Think about who a Knicks point guard will go up against. Major NBA scorers get their points by going to the line, not by hitting a low percentage of jumpers. He'll be going up against Rondo and Harris for most of his career. I don't like the sound of that matchup. You put Holiday in there and at least he can put up a fight. Put Derozan at the two and you can see him guarding Vince and Allen. Hitting jumpers is something you want from a role player. We have enough of those already. We need major pieces for this Knicks team. Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Mark Jackson thinks he will be a good pg and has the ability to be a big time player in the NBA Jackson gave him high marks. This link vs Duke really doesn't help you cause because you have to remember that Curry's team isn't the best talent wise. If not for curry's ability the team wouldn't have been even been given a game vs. Duke at that a ESPN game.
The fact that he was able to adjust his game vs Duke says a lot about his maturity and knowledge of the game. He stopped settling for the jumper and drove to the basket where he was able to finish consistently. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=290070150 This link really doesn't help your cause. As for the Sooners game Curry got his team back from a big deficit have to remember that the Sooners also are a talented team with the number one overall player. Warren is a nice player but you have to see what kind of defense he played on Curry. Curry is going to be a very good player. Knowing the Knicks luck he is gone before they pick he will not be there at 8. Curry is the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th overall pick. |

I'm calling DG a bust now, but I do see where he could easily become part of a big 3. He has the potential to be as good (if not better) then tony k or even ra lewis...even dirk. Sporadic play comes from sporadic minutes. IMO a mike d pg has got to be durable base on the system, and there are some quiestions regarding rubios durabilty.

I think curry can be like an eric gordon type of player because he shoots the ball well but he has better passing ablity then eric gordon. Curry wants to be here he going to be a much better player then ricky rubio. Ricky rubio is only better at passing but he way to skinny doesn;t have jump shot, he doesn't have good speed at all, and the other reason I don't like him is because attitude. Ricky rubio has big time attitude and he such premadonna because I didn't like what he said to memphis, and okolohoma saying i don't want to play here because it not a big market. This kid shouldn't be acting like this because he coming america and he doesn't have say where he goes and he should be happy where he is going. Now he changed his mind that he will work out for teams 2 through 4 I wonder what changed his mind.
