At least he has the man in front of him. SIncwe a lot of you guys have alot of time. Go look up how many bigs vs how many permiter guys scored 20 points on us this year? Look at the names of the perimeter players that torched us this year I think Mike James got 20 back to back nights my favorite was 3 wizards getting 20 in the same game. No I take that back MArquis Daniels getting 28 was a big hit for me. Bottom line Lee is going to get paid and you can gripe next year when he is one of the leading scorers top rebounder and you make the playoffs.

I don't get this arguement....we all know Duhon sucks on defense. He's been getting beat all year by everyone.....still doesn't explain why David "Jazz Hands" Lee can't play defense....

King how many players capable of scoring 20 pts at the power fwd poition in the nba??? Not many....we are just as much freaks about basketball as you buddy boy.

BTW...if Lee resigns fine...I think we all say that. Doesn't excape the fact that he dogs it on defense and will get pushed around in the playoffs with the way these guys have been playing this year.

If he did what you guys wanted and tried and contested shots he would foul out in the first half. If they sign a center and he doesnt wrestle with Ming, Howard, and Shaq he will be a much better player also. He has to get better on offense but there is never a thread on Nate who is the worst defender on the team by far or any of the perimeter players defense. Lee is a decent on ball defender it is when the guard get in the lane he gets killed. After watch Bynum and knowing he got 15 million a year it makes me realize Lee is worth 10 million and he will be help lead this team back to the playoffs

Yes he will lead them to the playoffs. This year he finally started and wasnt behind Zach and Curry. He will get the Knicks to the playoffs next year and that is an accomplishment on how sorry of a franchise this has become. When guys like Oakley, starks, and Sprewell are considered gods and they wont absolutely nothing you really dont have a lot to cheer about.

Pharezone I guess you can relate to the problems florida had when Lee was there. Win the conference, be a top ranked team and get smoked in the playoffs. Sound like the great Knicks teams of the 90's.

Man I can tell you never watched much Knick games before 05. A Ewing led Knicks team didn't lose in the 1st round since losing to the Pistons back in 90. Stick with your Lee loving and leave Knick lure to Knick fans.

Honestly we can get chuck Hayes to rebound and play D and he fills most of whatever we lost with Lee. The big difference is that Lee can finish really well. Outside of that Hayes rebounds just as well and plays 100x better defense.

Scola Vs. Lee? Is this even a conversation? Lee was guarded by nobody during the season. Teams guarded Harrington, and Robinson and basically dared Duhon and Lee to beat them, basically not guarding them at all. That's what I saw, I can't imagine what King was viewing.

Scola can score from anywhere 20 feet and in and he rebounds well. He doesn't play great D but he still is far better on D than Lee.

Lee's big talent is he is great at finishing around the hoop. He can shoot layups like nobody's business. I am not being a dick about that either. He makes very tough inside shots. But his rebounding is overrated. He plays no D so he can grab an extra 3 boards per game, and if he rarely strays more than 5 feet from the bucket on O. Good thing to.

I don't get why does he even try to pretend. Look at the vertical on both players in that last photo. Come on, I seen Lee get up much higher than that on offense. That's a lack of effort right.

all right now we've torn lee down to the lowest point possible. any chance we can now calibrate him at a reasonable level of value?
