Ok question...I never go to the home page...its the forum web address gonna change? I'm gonna have a heart attack if it does, lol. Nah just need to know so I won't think I'm banned or the site is down.

Also have you checked to see how it runs on a phone? None of the post functions work and the "post new thread", "post new poll" are invisible. I'm a OG so I can adust and figure it out....like I said I'm just asking.

URL not changing. Never checked out the phone version but I will. I know dudes like firefly and you are mostly phone-only surfers. suggestions in that area would be welcome.

We are about a week or 2 away from getting all the features in and I will have everyone check out new stuff to make it works after that. It'll be a process.

it's always weird to me that some people never go to the home page and then there are others who ONLY go to the home page.

I will say this site currently renders very nicely on my Blackberry Storm due to the basics approach to the layout. The one thing that would be nice is bigger icons to go to the next page or page selection.

Also is there a way you guys can figure out that bug that causes some posts to be longer than the page can view(not talking about pictures but posts that contain ultra-long URL's) that cause you to have the horizontal slide bar at the bottom of the screen?

hey guys, just wanted to chime in and bow down to your awesome efforts at running this site. Personally, I like the clean look and easy features (ie no avatars and other bells & whistles). That's why people like Craigslist and Google - simple, direct, but still fun to use.

I'm sure all your changes will be cool. The only thing I could see improving is a new color scheme, which you said you're doing, and something with the quote features. I know you said there's noting progamming wise you can do, but maybe something with the layout. That's the only time I'm really annoyed, when I'm reading a thread and there's quote within quote within quote. Drives me nuts. At a point I just give up on the thread.

I would like to see some enhanced word processing features. I could really use the ability to add footnotes to my posts (as you know, they can become quite long and complex.) Also, a Table of Contents feature would be great.

I could really use some sort of calculator feature. You could provide a grid of into which we can input numbers or formulas referencing those cells. In the cells containing formulas, you could show the results of the formula.

Also, no suite is complete without some kind of graphics program. At a minimum, it should contain brushes for line drawing and painting, in addition to a choice of colors.

Also, it would be very convenient if I could do my taxes on the site.

I know there are other programs / sites that provide some of these features, but having them all together in one place would be awesome.

It would be nice if each UK member also had his or her own database on the SQL server, where we can store our stuff. Also, if you could open up the UK API, and provide a scripting language that would be cool. Then we could all participate in designing the site.

I would also like a friend search feature so that I can find all my old friends from 20 years ago, and I’d like to be able to add more stuff about myself on my profile, like what my favorite type of beer is, where I went to school, and what kind of women I like. It could show what type of music I like, what movies I like to see and who my UK friends are.

You should also provide plenty of storage so that we have a place to put all our photos.

It would also be really cool if you had an internet search feature. We could type in a term, and UK would search the internet for us.

It would also be really cool if you could link us in to NASA’s computers so that we can all take turns launching the space shuttle.

Is it possible to add quick links to NBA.com, especially Knicks.com and their history page. I like what you guys did a couple of years ago with the Knick clips on the front page.
