My only thing with Derozan is that he looks very unpolished and will play on the wing, so unless him, Gallo, and Chandler developed a great deal over the Summer we would have seriously raw players at all of the scoring positions.
If we got Nash for next year, that kind of scenario might make sense though. Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Taj Gibson is probably the guy that Trojan team looked to for leadership, but Derozan is their most talented player & became their go to guy down the stretch of the season... i ain't no prospect guru obviously but i've had my eye on this kid for a while now so i tried to make an effort to catch as many SC games last year as i could, & even tho he was raw early on u definitely could see why he was so highly touted as a HS prospect... he really busted out & made people take notice during the Pac 10 tournament when he outplayed James Harden & beat a tough Arizona State team to win the championship. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Derozan running the wings w/his freakish athleticism will be a sight to see, especially w/Nash leading the break, & whoever we have starting at C will hopefully have some shotblocking skills & low post defense... i don't think we should expect much of next year's team other than continuing to develop the youth & hopefully be able to sneak into the playoffs.
