What? David Lee gets owned by everyone from Leon Powe to Anderson Varejao. There were times tonight when even Yi was cloning him. Who cares that he's a PF? He got owned by Lopez did he not? Was that performance worthy of the money you want to give him Mr. Superior Basketball Talent Evaluator?

David Lee is the only interior player on the team. Without David Lee we have no one--who are you replacing David lee with? Gallinari? Gallo has to prove he can play within 30 feet of the basket.

David is an awful help defender but Al is worse. I don't even know what he does or what he is thinking. Also, when Harrington doubles a guy, he is glacially slow getting back to his man or finding an offensive player to guard. Awful.

gotta love the must win attitude this team displays for every must win game... this team is clearly on the path towards future glory... we must keep the core together & stop fooling ourselves w/that silly 2010 plan.

With no back problems I think Gallo turns out to be well above average... but this is not good. How many people has the entire board met that are 19-21 and have had back problems this severe?

Excuse me for changing the subject, but it looks like the Bulls are in the driver's seat for the eight spot. They're three games ahead of us, 1 1/2 ahead of the Bucks, and 2 1/2 ahead of the Nets and Bobcats. Plus they have the best roster of the remaining teams - even without Deng. Getting Salmons was a brilliant move on their part.

You left out the way they really get after it defensively, thanks to how well they're coached. And led by their 2 cornerstone players, who should be given blank checks to make sure they stay here for many years to come.

when I was 19 I had a lower back injury. I popped it bending over and picking up a 25 pound bag of sand. I was unable to work for a month, unable to run for 6 months and unable to really resume heavy lifting for almost a year. I then play full contact football for 3 years and have been playing baseball (not be to confused with softball) for 10 years.

The back is a funny thing. Gallo could be totally screwed (and Knick fans along with him). He could come back next year and play like it never happened. He could have ongoing issues his whole career like McGrady. You just dont know

I'm not sure if I read this right, but I seem to remember reading Gallo's at risk for vertabrae leaking it's fluid, which obviously doesn't sound good. I'm not sure what it means exactly but it sounds like it would hurt everytime he twists

Season over.

Well, it's been over since we decided to lose 6 consecutive games for the second time this year, but now it's truly done for minus a ridiculous 10-5 run to close the year combined with about five other teams going 6-9 at the same time.

Not going to happen.
