I think the Knicks *NEED* to play Nate at PG for an extended stretch to see if he can (or can't) do it. That will help us determine his value as a FA.

Hats off to Nate. Great game last night! He looked a little off but that's to be expected because he played with a stomach virus and even threw up on the side of the bench last night according to the NY Post.

Wow! What was a off game turned out to be a gutsy performance!

Way to go big fella!

First off, no Nate isn't a superstar, but trading him for a mid-round draft pick would be insane. Save for the first 5 picks or so, how many players are more talented than Nate and would be capable of averaging 27 plus over a ten game stretch? Like Eny said, we undervalue our oen players and overvalue everyone else's.

If nothing else, Nate is the perfect 6th man. Brings energy, can light up a scoreboard and completely change the pace and flow of a game. Those guys are not easy to come by. I can definitely see Nate as a valuable piece to a long, playoff run. For what he can give us, he will also come on a discount.

I say keep Nate as the 6th man all year which should undercut his value a bit. Pay him about 6 per, then give him a shot at the starting pg position next year. If he works out, we could have a starting point guard putting up the numbers of a pg making nearly 2 times what he would be making. if he doesn't work out as the starting pg, he can always resume his 6th man role which he has already proven to be a legit candidate for 6th man of the year honors.

People will turn on a Knicks game to watch Nate. He may not be a superstar, but its been a long time since we've had any player you could say that about.

here's another down play....

Chris paul just dropped 30pts, 4 steals, 3 turnovers, 9 assists, 6 rebounds....on the bum ass Bucks...

Nate Robinson just dropped 25 pts, 2 steals, 4 turnovers, 7 assists, 6 rebounds...on the bum ass Timberwolves...

Comparable numbers...of course Chris Paul is better...but by how much? not light years...Nate may be a step behind only because he was never groomed to be the starting point guard.

Let me tell you guys something, again lol, Nate Robinson is a damn good player....its a crime this guy is not starting. Forget about not paying him...he needs to be a Knicks for years to come.

I say s&t him with lee for a 1a or two second tier stars this off season.

Hoping someone takes curry in the process.

N8 is good on a sub 500 team, but there is a reason those types never win MVP.

He hasn't proven he can get us wins consistently.

Until them he's the same as Crawford.

I'd rather have al and number 0 go after Nash and boozer and entice with that squad.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Yes. This is getting ridiculous. I'm too tired from last night to explain why but it really is. I will soon though. Really now. Let's just say Nate is at a good level right now. He isn't elite or nowhere near it. Chris Paul and others are at least 5 notches above him. Bottom line. Cut and dry. End of story. The constant overrating of our own young players needs to stop. I know we haven't had much to be excited for all these years but that doesn't mean we have to be irrational.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Wow, just wow.

CP is light years better than Nate and then some. Nate could have been groomed to be a starting PG from birth and he would never have been close to CP. That's not hate, that's just indisputable fact.

I'll just chalk this up to Eny being a little excitable.

People really do need to stop overrating players just because they where the home white. I really think there are a good percentage of Knicks fans that think the Knicks have the core of a contending teal already in place.

if we could trade Nate for an extra pick & take Demar Derozan i'd do it... i think he's got real star potential... i think Nate's sorta limited because of his size, even tho there are things he does really well that make him unique... i don't think he's the type of guy that u can build around tho, he's a complimentary type talent player IMHO... Derozan tho, has the potential to be that type of player... at this point i don't think our moves should be controlled by the fear of losing guys like Nate & D Lee... we need to keep the focus on finding franchise type talent to build around... that's the only consistent way to win championships in this league as it's been proven time & time again.

TMS... I admitally haven't seen alot of Derozan (he's one of the few guys I hadn't seen) until last night. Dude looks like a star and I know you been talkin him up alot here. I would definitely advocate the plan you just put forth to take him.

thanks bro... i mean i'm sure there's other guys that would make great draft picks too but IMO there are only a select few in this draft that really have superstar potential, & Derozan has to be 1 of them.

80 foot sign on the big stage.

Good for him.

Now lets see him lead the league in steals.
