What did you do at UCONN, Bip?

Nothing.

I thought you played ball there or something?

Played ball would be a stretch. I prefer to call it practiced ball. "played ball" is what some of the other guys got to do.

Bip did you ever get some run? I've been curious of that - didn't want to ask until the subject was brought up again.

I got some run. Nothing significant or meaningful, because Calhoun doesn't know talent.

Cool man. I know for you it sucks to think what could have been, but it's the dream of alot of people to even step on the court wearing a jersey like UConn, UNC, Duke, whatever, so that's pretty cool.

Are you guys freaking serious the kid sucks and that the plain truth. It really is hard to say that your draft pick choice from a few years ago is a bust but he is a bust. He shoots a ridiculous 39% from the floor. Nelli like shooters and he couldn't shoot so he went into Nellie's dog house.

HMM we shouldnt give him a chance because Vmart insists that he scks

I don't want to hear shyt from a UCONN fan. You have a biased opinion when it comes to UCONN players. All you have to do is look at his stats and most can come to the conclusion he sck. He played a full season as a JKidds backup and shot 39% the next year he actually got worse. The Knicks have been down this road before 20 games is to many for this guy. The Knicks have players to develop not waste their time with a crappy pg with a leg out the NBA door.

what's the harm in taking a flier on Marcus Williams? i think the way PGs play has a lot to do with the system they're in.

Will Knicks Look At Marcus Williams?
The Warriors waived point guard Marcus Williams on Wednesday night, and the Knicks could take a look at him this summer.

There have been reports about Williams having issues with his personality, but the feeling around Golden State was more that he was a halfcourt point guard.

New York, however, did consider taking him with the 20th overall pick in the 2006 draft, but opted for Renaldo Balkman instead.

on a 1 year deal i'm all for it if he's coming in as a backup option, but not for anything more than a veteran's minimum contract... kid needs to show something before he gets paid anything more than that... personally i'd prefer just to showcase Nate next season & see if a deal comes along at the trade deadline & have Duhon his backup since he's on the books already.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Yeah, Duhon's gotta be the backup because he can't handle the minutes.

He was good early on, so I think he'll be a good backup.

You have to think Williams has something wrong personality wise if he can't stick somewhere.

Too much roster turnover here too. We can't add a player every week.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
