dude makes $11 per - that would fit decently into our cap situation in 2010

I haven't seen the dude play enough to form an opinion on him though. Whenever we play the Warriors he seems to be hurt.

Golden State has been holding onto its right to terminate the remainder of Ellis' six-year, $66 million deal. ... Guard Marco Belinelli (turf toe) was back on the inactive list. ... Forward Corey Maggette returned after missing Friday's game against Dallas with a sinus infection. ... With the loss, the Warriors were officially eliminated from playoff contention.

They might be referring to litigation for breach of contract, although I'm not sure how anyone could confuse an early termination clause with litigation.

The Warriors should have excised the right to terminate before Ellis ever came back. Now that he has come back and has played games, much better than Miles who has tanked I might add, I don't see how the Warriors have a right to void the contract anymore. To me they lose those rights.

Whatever Don Nelson wants, just do that opposite. That should be the approach every franchise takes who hires this lame. Would be quite successful.

Gallo?? You guys don't get it! Gallo is probably done for good in the USA. I doubt that he will return next season. He is overwhelmed and will stay in Italy and play there for the rest of his career if he has one. I like Gallo but this injury was too much for him to overcome and he will never be the player he may have been.

There was two more crazy Don Nelson stories overnight. I can't even keep up with this dude.

He says Monta and Craw are like oil and water because neither can guard a two guard. His soluion... Belinelli? Hmmmm... ok.

Here's another nice one from the San Jose Merc News:

Especially when you get into the good teams, twos are 6-7… There’s great players in our league that are twos rigth now. That’s pretty difficult for either guy. You need somebody that’s more of a defender there.

-NELSON: Yeah. They’re both very good players.

-Q: You didn’t know that about Crawford when you traded for him?

-NELSON: No, actually I was hoping that it would work out just the opposite.

-Q: You thought Crawford could guard twos?

-NELSON: I thought, you know, maybe. Because he’s got pretty good size. I thought maybe it might be a few technique things, maybe we could help him, give him a little more support behind him and stuff like that. But it’s just really hard for him.

I think they’re both combo guards and maybe have a better chance to guard the one, both of them.

-Q: So Jackson’s definitely set to be the two?

-NELSON: That’s what I’m planning. It’s his natural position. I think next year I’ll move him there. That’s my plan. We’ll see how it works.
