i remember the Knicks clowned on Charlie Ward when he went off during a playoff game i think it was vs. the Heat or Pacers (can't remember)... they did it out of love for the guy, not out of disrespect... they were just happy to see him go off like that & the crowd started chanting Charlie's name after... i know Bip remembers that game.

I cried.........I believe it was against Miami in Carter's(can't remember his first name) mug

Chaaaaaaarrrrlieeee Waaaaaaarrrrd

Both of those were charges.

Charlie looks to be about 6'10" in that second pic guarding Mr. Robinson.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

IT'S CALLED POINTLESS POST INFLATION, MY MAN.

Don't worry, rest assured martin is sitting somewhere with one hand holding a Corona, and the other on the "reset post count to sub-prime negative number" button...

It goes without saying that it's worth discussing the supposed veteran leadership on this team, openly mocking and ridiculing the poor foreign stiff legged lottery pick's stiff offensive moves.

I can picture Isles laughing to himself as he writes this stuff. Thinking which sucker is going to fall for it and engaged in a fake argument in which my true goal is to try and get you worked up over nothing.

Isles your the devil

I take credit for starting this entire mass of stupidity, if for no other reason than giving Bip an easy thread to respond to with the least amount of energy expended.

I think we all need to buckle down as a group, and see if martin and any other powers that be here (if there are any) would allow a "donate posts to Bip" button.

By the way, has anyone thought of asking Lee through one of the paper hacks if his actions had any racial overtones? I honestly think Gallo is darker than Lee.
Wow, Balkman is white? I knew that had to be hair implants, but then Bip, you spend so much time in women's salons, who else would have the expertise to spot that other than you?

Must be; you laugh at yourself almost every post.

I have not figured out why Lee might think like this, because I'm not as perceptive as some folks, but perhaps Lee was somehow mocking Gallinari's Italian heritage, and Italian basketball in general.

As an Italian-American (albeit one who can't speak a bit of Italian and has renounced Catholicism) I am shocked that Lee could do such a thing.

Can I also conclude then that when Lee jumped off the bench and stood up with his towel he was about to mock, not cheer, Gallinari after he had blocked (called a foul) Josh Smith's shot on a drive to the basket?

I am outraged by Lee's disrespectful actions, and I can't believe guys on this thread are trying to excuse or justify his atrocious behavior. Gallinari is a visitor to our fair land. He doesn't know the language or our culture. He has a bad back.

not to mention stiffness in his legs... D Lee should be ashamed of himself for ragging on a handicapped person.

No, he mentioned the stiff legs. After all, that's really the central point in all of this, Gallinari's stiff legs.

Thank you. I'm glad there's at least one person here who can read. You've restored my faith in the UK community.
