that was a good move by gallo.

he has very high b-ball iq, and anyone who doesn't see that is really not watching.

on the last two sequences he tried to get fouled or be creative.

Dude, Nate, Chandler and Harrington do that every game and I don't see anyone giving them high marks for their b-ball IQ. It has to stop some time doesn't it. All this unnecessary praise.

if you mean getting fouled, sure, but was not the same thing nate, al or duhon do at all.

why so obsessed with hating gallo?

perhaps that's what's really "unnecessary."

i thought it was a creative way of approaching both situations, and i found it hard to not see, unless one is completely set on hating the guy.

am i baised? sure, but crazy and blind? maybe, but if i didn't see something i wouldn't have bothered to write it for your attempt to belittle my observation. (notice i never directly commented on a point by someone else attacking gallo, in other words...yew sthaa'ded it.)

perhaps i could have left out the line about "not watching" but i didn't think the anti-gallo gestapo would turn it into a personal attack.

sorry if i offended your worldview.

have a nice evening an enjoy the game.

I felt that way in the first quarter. Despite what Clyde and Kenny say, I think the Bobcats are playing tight defense. Most Knick shots are contested. And defenders are up tight on Knick shooters with a hand in their face.

Where was the full and half court pressure in the other three quarters.

I totally agree but Dwight was very raw when he came into the league. Nowhere the player he is now. That's why it makes sense to go for the high risk high reward player.

That was just a very well coached game by the winning head coach.

Not so much by the losing one.

All I am going to say about this one is that you can't have a couple of your players ready to play defense while others refuse to or can't. Playing catch up basketball is not a receipe for success.

How else are you going to stack up all these moral victories?

A loss is a loss by my book, no such things as moral victories but i've gotta say they've been nice to watch this year and pretty competitive so that's a plus in my book, got me interested in my Knicks again.

I really dont get all this "they are fun to watch" talk, there are not many more things in this world that are more frustrating than watching this team play

Bad bad loss. We lost this game taking horrible shots and constantly leaving their shooters open. I don't like the man but I'll give the Old Weasel credit. He's got these Cats playing some good defense. That third quarter killed us dead.

25-36. 3 games out.

The Cats have won 6 straight and are just 1 game out. Ugh.

I'm usually one of Lee's biggest supporters but he was terrible tonight. Absolutely terrible.

One of the things I constantly say about Lee is that his man on man defense isn't as bad as some people claim, his help side defense however, is the major weakness he has (and I have said that for awhile now).

Tonight though, his help side D was worse than ever. Some of the things he was doing was inexcusable. If you have a man in front of you and you are by far the closest defender, you put your damn hands up and at least try to contest the shot. I think there were about 3-4 times tonight when that happened and Lee just made pretend he was going to contest the shot but ultimately held back.

I'd like to think that the main reason why Lee was kept on the bench for so long was because of this (although I'm just speculating). Hopefully someone shows him some game footage because he really needs to make sure that never happens again. I typically love the way he plays the game but I think tonight's game might have been the worst of his career due to a lack of effort on the defensive end.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

Bad teams lose more than they win. And the Knicks are bad.
