Courtney Sims is having an amazing D League season. He's scoring 22.6 ppg (at 61%) and pulling down better than 11 boards with more than 2 blocks per game. Ewing hasn't done nearly that well (16 ppg @ 46% with 8.5 boards and 1.2 blocks). Ewing's numbers against inferior competition are not at all encouraging.

Courtney, though he has good stats, is slow and not exactly athletic. Read up on him. Ewing Jr is not a center, but if you want to compare their athleticism, there is no comparison. James White and Ewing Jr would be close though. Anyway, Courtney is not a running center but let's see as Phoenix signed him to another 10 day and has to sign him if they want him after this last 10 day. He is a non running center (edit) and Phoenix runs, so it would be interesting to see if the report on him is true.

TMS, No way do you sign a knucklehead athletic freak, I mean Ewing Jr is an athletic freak but has a much much better all around game. I can't see the point since White and Jr. are very close in athletic ability but Ewing Jr smokes him in most other aspects, most notably IQ.

Mouhamed Sene was recently cut by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Suppose to be a shot blocker.

i still don't get Malik for Wilcox when the dollars are a wash & both have expiring contracts... who'da ever thunk a deal like that could get done? Donnie musta given them an offer they couldn't refuse.
