Atlanta has no bench but this guy... what his name.. who cannot defend anything that moving a bit, not talking about something that flying (little Nate).
Bibi was bad-afful and Smith was angry (looks like his girlfriend dumped him again...)
good game zo

I know the Knicks aren't even .500 but they are playing pretty damn well right now. I think it is a tribute to the coach that D'Antoni is.

I think so. Trading away your 1st and 2nd leading scorer is tough. He has adjusted very well.

We're beating teams with better players. I've got to credit the coach.

Kudos to everyone who can give MDA some credit, even if they didn't initially like MDA, unlike the few diehards that refuse to acknowledge his coaching ability. This guy has his team playing well and seems to have a handle on how he wants to use them. They team is confident and getting better. Still far from where we need to be, but in his 1st year, which was supposed to be a throw away, MDA has done a good job.

Here's an idea for Nate. In the dunk contest--do a similar ally oop and on the way up release a mini parachute

I was very impressed with the team play tonight.

Lee, Duhon, Nate, Fugazy and Ill Will the Mayor were supremely confident, and it showed.

Gallo didn't get much burn, but my friend had never seen him and was cool with him.

I think Mike D is doing a fantastic job.

You can see that this team is really beginning to believe in thelselves.

They aren't gonna be world beaters, but you can see that we are really a team now.

Seriously, I can list several smart plays throughout.

Will did a GREAT job defensively on Joe Johnson too, and it helped that ATL couldn't hit any FT's sure.

The fans were going nuts too. It almost felt like the MSG I recalled from my yoot...

I should say I was impressed with some of the ATL performances, particularly Flip Murray, Williams and my former most overrated player Smith, who showed us some good play.

ATL is a good team, and we played with confidence.

Nice win that even the most cynical fan should enjoy.

This was good b-ball.

and we REALLY stepped up in the 2nd half.

Usually we complain about a good 1st half performance where we collapse, but the continuity (as clyde would say) was there.

That's a sign, to me, of a team that believes.

I was impressed, honestly, and entertained.

My top awareness on offense players for the Knicks were:

Duhon
Lee
Chandler

Lastly, Duhon's alley-oops to Nate, and Lee in the 4th were AMAZING.

I mean he put them in the PERFECT place for both jams.

See Lee's face after he got his...he was like, "All I had to do was jump to the basket with my hands up."

I mean PERECT.

I remember this team used to be afraid to play in the Garden. Not no more.

Yes, finally gone are the days when someone would say: "I think they're spooked." or "They're losing b/c you're booing" or people getting thrown out the Garden when someone calls them on it.

Thank god for that 3rd quarter in this game.

One thing that stuck out this game was how many LAZY PASSES we made that were picked off. The Hawks play with active hands on defense and we threw so many telegraphed slow passes that were stolen time and again. It was infuriating and we're lucky to win this game.

If we do those things over the next five games we're going 0-5. That needs to stop and NOW. No excuse for that. None. That's being lazy and stupid and nothing more.
