lovers (Bip, Larry Clown would be so disappointed) what is with all the hostility. Why can't we just enjoy a good game of Knick basketball. The players are doing ok and the coach is earning his pay. Let's stop the bickering.

'cause the insinuation appears to be this is the first and only game any of this has transpired. Which is wholly inaccurate.

That is the difference between DLee and other bigs. Simple pass to JSkinny and he fumbles it. Give that to DLee and it is a flush.

Seriously, save it for the Curry sex harassment thread....

LOL that thing.... SMH. Well, since TruckBury has been sidelined I guess someone had to pick up the slack and bring the seedy drama back to the Knicks.

Knicks getting ready to blow it...

Yuck.....

Yet, we've done it all year leading good teams and just running out of gas down the stretch. Maybe we find a way to get that extra hoop tonight. Looks kinda grim though. I guess MikeD stopped coaching the team.

That was an excellent sequence. Good defense down low, good boxout to get the rebound. Then good spacing on offense, got the ball down low, kicked it out and around to the open man for an open 3.

But this roster sucks and isn't worth trying to coach.

It's funny that you of all people would sit here and approve of the roster. In essence you are basically endorsing the moves of Isiah Thomas as GM, minus the trades made this year for salary cap purposes.

So now that Isiah is gone I see you have to overreach and give him some credit to bash your new whipping boy - D'Antoni.

Who the hell is approving the roster??? Endorsing Isiah??? What are you talking about?

All I want to see is player development over the next 2 years as they weed out players and try to get role players to understand what the coach is going to want to do in 2010. Doing nothing and crying about how the roster isn't worth coaching is completely unacceptable.

As far as "Isiah's players" go, I've said that Lee is a nice role player, same with Chandler. Nate is a clown and needs to go as do Curry and Jeffries. Who else of consequence and I missing? Not sure how you get that as an endorsement of Isiah.

Who ever said this roster wasn't worth trying to coach? The guy has been coaching all year long. We just choose to see it on those nights that we win.

Isles again, do you honestly believe that this caoching has just magically improved in the past few nights? I never thought you were in the game to game group, but I guess you are.

Don't back up now Bip. We might have to take back a few hundred of your recent posts.

Not that post count means anything anymore.

Wow, the officials are really helping out the Knicks. Lee got a lot of West.

Best case scenario is the Knicks continue to play well but the Hornets just execute as the better team and pull it out.

Breen blew his load too soon. Looks like a good block by Lee on the replay and he tries to back out of it.

I think D'Antoni has been reading this message board and tonight decided that maybe he should start coaching, and that is why the team is playing better.

You guys operate game to game and half to half. It's odd, really. Borderline Schizo

How do you know what he does or doesn't do? Maybe he searches fanatically on his laptop, or read every fineprint with his name in it. Maybe he thought to heart some of the questions that reporters had for him, maybe he caught Knicks 60 and said damn I got to do better. Stop acting like you have it all figured out and just enjoy the game.

Or as every coach does, you make adjustments as the season goes along based on what you see and your staff sees.

Let's see the tone a month from now when we lose to another team we "should have beaten". On that night D'Antoni will have forgotten how to coach. Hopefully someon eon the board will call him and get him back on track.

It's funny how some people want it both ways. When there's no evidence of coaching or adjustments, the players aren't worth coaching. You know, because nobody could coach this group. Now when coaching is apparent and adjustments have obviously been made, it's just a natural season long progression.

You're funny.

Isles: Again, point out at what point in time I ever said that the players "weren't worth coaching". This was never said, so stop with this. This is how the media sells papers. Miscontrue what someone says, and then say it enough times that others think it's true. Maybe someone else said, it but have that conversation with them, not me. D'antoni has been coaching all season long, which is opposite of what some said 2 days ago.

Here is the bottom line. D'Antoni is a good coach, that has been my argument all along. He isn't coaching any harder tonight then he did a couple nights ago. Tonight it's workign, tomorrow it won't. We are on pace to win 30 games. Most predicted 35 range. As the season goes along our team will get better and eventually end up where they should. We will lose awful games we "should" win and win games we "should" lose. In the end, regardless we will be a team that has a long way to go. Here is my quote from earlier today.

"When I'm done should I put out the line-ups for the Celtics, jazz and Pistons who we beat? How many years have you watched the NBA? This is what bad teams do. They look good one night and look horrible the next. Only in NY do we think the good nights mean we are actually good.

Let me ask it another way. When you look at that roster, what should our record be right now?

What should our final record be?(take into account that on some nights this year we will lose to other teams we "should beat" and beat some teams that are clearly better than us)"
I just hope that people will like me

It's the coach's for he obviously has stopped coaching these great players down the stretch.

What do I win?
