This is the time I hate. I would foul immediately but Knicks never do.

Chandler took it on himself to take it to the basket after watching what was going on. Where is the coaching at?

I think Al Harrington WOULD be the goto guy but I don't think you can depend on him to take a high % shot.

Yeah but you come up with a gameplan and stick with it. This Helter Skelter offense is not helping matters. Crawford took the last shots or Randolph got the ball in the post, that was Isiah's gameplan. He didn't win with it but it was a gameplan. I can't get on players if the coach isn't telling them how to execute in the last minutes of these games.

I won't disagree with a word you said.

I just don't think theres a player on this roster worth taking that shot.

Then don't play the "go-to-guy" down the stretch offense. Just keep playing the same offense you did all game. It's not like we were up 12 points looking for one guy to make 1 or 2 shots to finish off the game here.

That is horrible. If we can't come up with an execution gameplan down the stretch then we are further away than I thought.

I agree, yet, if we don't have a go-to-guy, then don't try to run that iso-offense that requires a go-to-guy! Just keep the motion flowing on offense. Don't let one guy hold it and PRAY he makes a shot. That's what we did for virtually from the 6minute mark to the 2minute mark. It nearly cost us.

Well....I'll be, they settled down and won the game, they took it inside got a couple of baskets but more importantly, they got 7 ft's in the final 2 minutes......go figure!!

Trust me Pharz, I don't really disagree with you, although I don't agree with you either.

Yes, we should have a goto guy but this is the 3rd coach this roster is playing under. 1 of them is a HOFer, 1 of them is Isiah and 1 of them is a guy who had a .700 winning % the past 4 years.

The Suns had a pretty good end-game strategy so you know MikeD knows what its all about in close games.

Take it down to 5 or less seconds and get an inside shot.....play smart

mmmmmmm...not a fan of that, not the way we've played, I think you just play like we did in the 1st q, and as soon as a guy comes open with a good look you take it.

If you try to wait you give the defense every chance to collapse on the final guy who has to take the shot, we miss, they can run down, and drill a wide open 3.

....and damn Duhon, trying to lose the game all at once LOL!? wowwwwwwwww...what the hell was all that. And once he got the ball back why'd he throw up more garbage!?

WOW haha....

Jeffries didn't pop back like he was suppose to. He was lucky he didn't get that 3 sec violation. You can tell D'Antoni was yelling at him.

Yep. Ah well, we finally got a win, a much needed win.

Some good signs that they were back to a team oriented play and better defense, combined with some ridiculous unforced mistakes and boneheaded 1-1 play out of frustration.

This was a loss that Chandler saved them from. Everyone went into a brain fart including the coach. Ha Chandler just admitted that D'Antoni didn't draw up any plays, he just took it upon himself to score. How much is getting again?

Felton and Diaw saved us from total embarrassment and Chandler and Nate hit clutch FT's.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I assume he was talking about his fourth quarter plays down the stretch. The two drives. He said they didn't have any plays drawn up. That is unacceptable I don't care what anyone says. It was obvious when I watching that no one knew what to do. Good questions by Tina.

Phar, you had a hard-on for MDA from day one. Regardless of what goes down you always dig out the negatives that concern MDA. Whether he called a play from the bench or not (BTW, theres a difference between running a called play and running a set offense) the Knicks won the game. How about giving MDA some credit for the W because we all know you would have ripped him if he lost.

No because he doesn't deserve the credit. As Chandler said no plays drawn up in the 4th quarter. BTW, I didn't rip him for the skid so you are batting .000.

Hey, Uptown how about taking it to the coach after hearing about no executions being drawn up instead of throwing blanket praises.

As I said, there is a difference between calling a set play from the bench each time down the floor, and simply running your predicated offense. I am a middle school coach, (I mention this for a point) and we have a set offense that we run just about every time down the floor depending on the defense. I dotn have to call anything, its a set motion offense we run that I drill them on in practice everyday. Now, I have set plays that I call as well, when needed.

I'm not sure what premiss Chandler meant when he said we didn't call any plays. Did he mean they just stood around and went one on one? Or, did they still move the ball, cut and screen away until something opens up. That might not be a called play, but its a set motion offense. Theres a difference.
