i'm talking about this Knicks team... i agree, he's more analogous to JR Smith talent wise, but like him or not, Jamal was the go to guy down the stretch of games that was the best able to get off his own shot when the offense broke down... Nate is the closest guy we have who can fill his role but he's also a very streaky player & as i said then, i think he will have a harder time getting off his shots because of his height disadvantage.

i agree w/that... Jamal should have never been the main go to guy in games but he had to take on that role by default because Marbury fell way short of his expectations... i've always said that i thought Jamal could be an effective secondary or third scoring option on a good team & i still think that to be the case.

Crawford? As a go-to-guy? Oh please. Look, he could get himself open and wasn't afraid to take the shot but that does NOT make him a go-to-guy!

Over four years he had, what, 8 "game winners"? How is that a go-to-guy? 8 out of 328 games the guy came up big? That's good? LMFAO

Malik Rose has no problem chucking up a 3 pointer when the game is on the line does that make HIM a go-to-guy? According to the Jamal fan logic, IT DOES. So lets get Malik out there and prime him up for a 3 pointer!

So you guys want Crawful back, so he can go 2-15 from the field, only to be willing to take a final shot?

My god....maybe in those games where he took a final shot if he hadn't gone 2-15 and we had a player that went 7-15, we're winning by 10 going away and not looking for someone willing to jack up a final shot. Imagine that.

But, you won't, cause, Crawful fans don't even care if he makes a shot, as long as he does a crossover dribble, it's all good.

It amazes me, Crawful fans will crap on John Starks, who was 10x the player Crawful was, and come out of nowhere and suggest we could beat the Nuggets tonight, who only won because no defense was played against them, if only Crawful was here to jack up a classic 5-29 game.

I really give up with ya's that are still crying that we traded Crawful.

Easy answer: During the past four years of Crawful, whenever he did poorly, on multiple forums Crawful fans would cite John Starks as an inconsistent example of a player. Even though John was superior in every category across the board, it was dismissed.

Now I see people crying we don't have a go-to-guy and Jamal was a go-to-guy.

Guess what, he wasn't. Just cause you're willing to jack up a shot doesn't make you a go-to-guy.


So now, while you're trying to say I'm pulling Crawful out of a hat, I'm not the one that brought him up, but I will put his bum ass down. That clown would not have won us tonight's game he would have been shat on for 50+ by Dontae Jones. You can bet on that.

if u're talking about posters on other forums, then say as much... when u make these generalizing statements it gives off the impression that you're referring to the people commenting in that thread, or at the very least on the same topic on these message boards, which hasn't been the case.
