bippity - your years of Knicks torture should have made you stronger. You want torture? Try being a Mets fan.

Of course things can go wrong. With the economy failing, advertisers slashing marketing budgets and the next NBA collective bargaining agreement right around the corner, I would not be shocked to see a major professional league implode (see Arena footoball) before Lebron or Duane can pack their designer luggage for NYC.

I respect your writing. I'm just keeping you honest.

Dude, I'm a Seahawks and Mariner fan on the side. I dont' want to hear any whining from Met's fans. I've had a combined 84 seasons of professional sports fanship. In those 84 seasons I have experienced 2 NBa finals and one superbowl appearance. The rest has been one disappointment after another, after another, after another.

You're also a Uconn man though, and I'm willing to bet that you're either a Devils, Red Wings or a Canadians fan. Man up and stop whining.

Uconn aint' the pros dimwit.

As for Hockey. I dont' have a team yet, I'm a free agent. I'm just going to wait until it's clear who the best team is and then I will pick them.

bippity - 84 seasons?

what are you, like 101 years old?

If Al Harrington can continue this torrid pace, and not get carried away with the press attention, he might also pick up some assists along the way.

Don't let it go to your head

The beauty of Al Harrington is not the scoring. Forget the points.

He not only brings passion - he brings confidence... perhaps even some swagger.

Duhon, Lee and Chandler will never be confused with the more demonstrative types. All three yoots are still finding their groove. QRich brings some fire if Marbury is in the room and Nate will get in your grille but... Harrington...

Harrington is a veteran who KNOWS what it takes to win. His clutch third quarter in Sacramento came at a moment the former Knicks played tentative. Of course, 11 points in 30 seconds, every night, is too much to expect - but AH was willing to take responsibility.

what more can anyone ask?
