Nalods take:

The reason the told him to get in the best shape of his life and played him was to SHOWCASE the headcase. A player so toxic that nobody even bit.

If he was in shape, playing well, and took a compromise to play then he would be on a roster already playing ball where ever he wanted. He could have parlayed the good preseason into a buy out and moved on.

But no, he wants to BEAT the knicks!

It is perfectly logical that he be waived at seasons beginning because he is so disliked and useless. There is no logical reason to keep him aboard.

But this is not logical on the knicks behalf, this is personal. He blew up Isiah, blew up management and showed no loyalty towards his employer who offered him every opportunity for him and his family for 3 years. Gave him what he wanted and he time and time again put his personal agenda ahead of the team. He put his sneaker company ahead, his libido, and his cousins. Its all been documented.

While counter productive, I don't blame the organization for taking a hard stance even over 3 million dollars.

With him, or without he can't hurt the team anymore. We are commited to rebuilding and we need a high pick this year and give our youth more time on the court.

The fact that The Mayor gets starter minutes is a huge commitment. I think Gallo would and will when he can get on the court. He is an important piece and his absence is tough. Nate being out is tough. Lee is avg double double and is in our future, or he is a highly valued tradable piece. We need those too! Getting Eddy rehabed and on the court if for nothing than trading him is important. This is our agenda, and winning won't be sustainable until we have our roster in position.

ANd don't forget, Dwight howard and Chris Paul come in 2011. Lebron can wait another year. 18 months is a long time.
