one thing i will say about marbs...throughout his entire tenure here, he's never really lied. he's stated things from his point of view but i don't think he's ever just outright lied.

Marbury is too out there to lie much.

BY the way, remember after LB season? Nate Robinson, David Lee, and Channing Frye all dogged out Brown. I'll give you one chance to guess who did not dog out Brown.

You know what makes me the maddest about Marbury? He ended Jason Williams' career with that mega-noggin!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I explained my position very well you're just wanting people to see things your way.

i'm explaining my position the same as you are... i don't care if u agree w/me or not.

Then stop taking my quotes and throwing in the thought Marbury is being given a free pass. Stop saying I'm putting most of the blame on mgmt. I'm disappointed it took them 4mos to figure how to deal with a jerk with an end result that should have been reached 4mos ago. Quote the posts/poster where they are giving Marbury a free pass not mine.

that's why i'm saying u're putting the onus of the blame on management & not on Steph... how am i wrong? that's been your main point from the very beginning... i've been countering u by saying it doesn't matter how management handled the situation, Marbury has an obligation to play whenever called upon... i'm placing the blame on Marbury for not fulfilling the terms of his contract... i also already told u i didn't like how MDA made this whole situation public to the press... doesn't make a difference when it comes to Marbury here... if u'r in agreement w/me on that then i don't see what the problem is.

By the way blueseats and everyone else: Check int what many Phoenix fans have to say about D'Antoni. He is no stranger to dramas and conflict with his players, even the ones not named Marbury.

***

Also, for everybody who wants Stoudemire in 2010: He is a selfish diva -- well documented(I'll still take him). He has cried about his role for years, now that they brought in Shaq so he could play his natural position, he is crying about his shots even though he leads the team in minutes, shots and points.

***

Joe Johnson wanted out of Phoenix so he could be the #1 guy. He complained loudly about his role. If he stayed with the Suns a championship could have been theirs. He is happier putting up big numbers rather than winning. He is no different from Marbury. I want no part of Joe Johnson.

***

Marbury is hardly a unique case, there is a lot of this kind of stuff in the NBA.

What about Marion? No need to leave him out. He hated the fact Nash, Amare, and even Diaw was getting shine but he wasn't. He didn't feel coach respected him enough as a player and wanted out a while ago before he got traded. They don't compare to Marbury because he hasn't been happy anywhere but our coach has ruffled feathers. To my knowledge I don't think he and Van Excel saw eye-to-eye when in Denver. Nash even had some parting shots for him. You probably could find prickish behavior in many coaches past and present, we happen to have one of them currently.

I already told you I agree with this although I don't think the GM did a good job hearing both sides. I even implied fining him even more if at all possible if the details prove such. If I told you I didn't think he deserved to be suspended then I could see your point. Or if I said our coach and gm are more wrong than Marbury I could see your point. I'm discussing the fact we shouldn't have arrived to this situation... this late in the season(although still many games left to be played but late for us considering our recent yrs of bad publicity). It's no different than David Stern's recommendation to Dolan to not go to court with ABS. She very well could have been telling bold face lies, 100% wrong, but for the sake of the league, for the sake of professionalism, settle the matter quickly, internally, without the media drama. I think we could have done this without a shadow of a doubt with Marbury months ago. I'm not debating Marbury's obligation to the team, although possibly you still are(his obligation is understood and a given). I've seen your admissions regarding coach, no need to testify to me again about it. Don't misconstrue my stance or put words in my mouth or say I'm giving Marbury a pass because I'm not and haven't since posting on this topic. I already told you if player is healthy and under contract he's obligated to play...no choices, no coddling, no stroking of egos.
