We're getting beat by a better team. Simple as that.

It doesn't matter if Red Auerbach was coaching this team with Jerry West as the general manager. We are not a good team with the current players that are on it. Get used to it.

This game is just more evidence that our roster is terrible. We need to purge this thing and I think Walsh made the correct decision by not extending Lee and Nate.

Q is on fire. He is trying to help my gamepicker out.

4949 - 'Don't worry, we'll win the next game'.

GKFv2 - 'Some prediction 4949! The Knicks are going to beat on a team that won only 26 games last year'.

.................What a couple of fine knuckle heads we turned out to be huh G?
I'll never trust this' team again.

I disagree about the Bucks being a better team in some respects. I just think you can't just say you are going to shoot 3 pointers when you don't have consistent 3 point shooters to begin with. Instead of adjusting to the team, he is trying to forced that square peg in a round hole.

This is so derpessing.

Not that the Knicks are losing, but that I picked them to win on gamepicker.

At least you know why they lost. It wasn't because of a lack of effort, but because they didn't bring the numbers tonight. Better luck next time.

is jerome james active tonight? if so, doesn't that pretty much negate any type of medical retirement type deal?

There are significantly worrisome signs that this team is still horribly managed.

No, there are no signs of bad management. The players are simply not putting the ball into the basket. These are Isiah's guys. Does D'Antoni have to teach them how to shoot also?

Dude, don't confuse management with shooting. I made the comment when the game was tied, or thereabouts. The score and outcome of any given game has no bearing on my assessments of management.

So did I.

I reiterate our need for a front court enforcer.

And we take WAY too many 3's.

But you clearly said it was 'horribly managed'. I don't think it's management. Lee, Crawford had only 1 point each at half time for example. There is something else going on here.

Lee had a bad game but honestly, you can't put him against Bogut (a former 1st overall pick) and expect him to do well. Don't get me wrong, Lee is probably my favorite player on this team right now. With that said, he is a very good role player but not someone you can build around and expect to win. That is why many of us were hoping that Lee could be used as a trading chip to move up and take Mayo in the draft.

That doesn't mean we don't like Lee or that we want him gone. It just doesn't make much sense for him to be a Knick with our current situation. The guy is a good player and thats why many other teams want him. The problem for us is that we don't have the star players that a lot of other teams have. You put Lee on a winning team and he will look much better. But you can't put him on a losing team and expect him to carry the team, he is not that type of player.

Why would the players care if Marbury is sitting in street clothes? There is nothing else going on here besides the fact that 80% of the players on this team simply are not that good at the game of basketball.

You are still confusing management with the outcome of the game.

Do you honestly believe that? Richard Jefferson and Michael Redd are both better players than anything we have and Bogut is a legit 7 footer that can play (something we clearly don't have). The Bucks will win more games than we will this season because they have better players. Simple as that.

These Knicks just need to continue to play hard and follow Coach D's gameplan to the T. I don't expect a lot of wins but at least play better than last year. That's all I want to see.
